Seven of us traveled from around Kansas for a luncheon meeting at the Longhorn Steakhouse in Salina. A reservation had been made several days earlier. When we started arriving we found a special table had been set up for us. Our waitress, Sierra, provided excellent service throughout our luncheon meeting. The food was excellent. I had the small Longhorn Salmon with a baked sweet potato. They was prepared perfectly. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the hospitality. We wonât hesitate to meet there again should we need to have another meeting!

My husband and I stopped in for breakfast (restaurant came highly recommended by hotel personnel). We arrived a few minutes after 9am and was seated promptly. There are plenty of tables plus counter service and I will venture to say it was about half full. We were served with coffee and our order was taken however, it took 50 min to get our breakfast. I had 3 cups of coffee before our meals arrived. We both ordered omelettes, one Spanish and the other western. They were huge and delicious, filled with fresh meat and veggies. We opted for tomato slices rather than hash browns and rye toast. Our breakfast was very fresh and flavorful. Our waitress acted like she owned the place, strutting around and yelling at the cook. She was telling customers he was fairly new. Well, if she felt he needed guidance, she should have went into the kitchen rather than yelling from the counter. Very unprofessional. So, food is excellent, service is slow and some of the help should be aware of what customers can hear.

Great service and fully stocked bar. I had the chicken strip appetizer which was juicy and hot. See the attached pics of their menu which might help you decide before you get there. Fairly good selection of beer on tap as well as bottles and cans.

Always get a delicous meal here. Crab fest advertised, had a strong hankering for crab legs and they didn't disappoint. As good as any I have had, price fair for what you get. I stay at the holiday inn where the Burger Theory is located. Is convenient just go downstairs and get you something to eat. I ordered a pizza and was done exactly like I like. I had one of their dessert jars. It was just okay. The waitress was nice a attentive. The place is clean and orderly. Iâll be back. Thank you for taking the time to write a review! 1st time visitor to this establishment and will return the next time weâre lucky enough to be in the area. Good craft beer selection. We tried the stout and their red and enjoyed them both. As for the pizza, we ordered one with sausage and peppers, and a Mexican (I think). They made a mistake on our order and asked us if we wanted a free Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza while we waited for the other 2. Weâll who passes up free food? Not us and weâre glad we didnât. By far the best of the 3. We highly recommend Blue Skye.

This small but mighty diner opened in 1922. There are 6 seats at the counter, and a walk-up window, and thatâs it. Cozy has a national reputation, and they make a great slider style burger. No frills,simple, historic, legendary and tasty. Take home a sack. Happy trails.

Salinas Kansas... driving on through from Denver to Nashville and this spot popped up with high reviews on yelp. From a distance I can see it having the option of being a drive-through. Hmmmmâ other than âin and outâ drive throughs muster a negative connotation to me..Walking in, we saw that it was an âorder at the counter then seat yourselfâ place which I find is typical at many bbq establishments. At 3 oâclock in the afternoon the place had a fair number of people in it. The woman at the counter took her time to explain many of the featured options, which we were happy to hear since it was our first time. The restaurant is especially clean with people wiping down the drink area while we were there. I ordered half a baked potato with toppings, along with a brisket sandwich. My husband ordered a larger portion of the same and he was quite delighted with his as well. The barbecue sauce is very tasty, not overly spicy or with a strong mustard sauce. That is utterly unappealing to me! There were other options with a more zesty sauce. Buns were fresh and the fries were amazing. My only reservation? The styrofoam plates.
