I have been coming to Dimitri's since I was a kid. I would always come there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with my friends and family. My favorite food to get for breakfast is the two-egg omelet with ham and asparagus with a side of home fries and wheat toast. For lunch and dinner, I always get the Santa Fe chicken wrap with a side of fries. I have been getting these delicious foods since I was a kid. I would always get the same foods whenever I have chances to come back. The service is outstanding. The employees are always prepared to take our drink and food orders. I like how they always check in to see if I am satisfied with the foods I eat. I cannot thank them enough for this amazing service!Thank you so much Dimitri's Diner for everything you have done!

Sarah's Wine Bar

We were here for dinner a few weeks ago with friends and had such a nice evening that we returned on our own last night.Restaurant was quiet although the server told us there were people sitting outside. Once again we enjoyed our dinner very much. Much to our surprise there was an acoustical guitar player who was excellent. The menu has everything at every price point including dishes that are prepared downstairs in Bernard's. We split a goat cheese salad, we both had the trout, a trio of creme brulee for dessert. We ordered a very enjoyable bottle of chardonnay from the $25 wine list. Everything was just excellent and Amanda, our server, was just friendly and refreshing. The room itself is intimate with a small bar and hightop tables and other tables for 2, 4, 6 etc.. Last time we were here we met Sarah the Chef and heard how the restaurant came about and we were pleased to hear of her success. We'll be back soon!!!!

Bailey's Backyard Farm to Table Restaurant

An American Farm To Table Restaurant featuring locally sourced produce and meats.

Who the hell begins dinner with sweet cornbread and even sweeter maple-butter? Patrons of Bailey’s, that’s who! It’s not as if the sweet cornbread were an anomaly on the table, hidden like an IED, among savory or neutral tasting breads. This was the star of the opening show. Could it get any worse? Of course it could! Let me back up to say this was our second visit to Bailey’s. We tried it out a year and a half ago and were not impressed. Someone seemed to have a fetish for pomegranate seeds, as they were littered on every course we ordered. There was an excess of disparate ingredients on every plate and the result was that our meal tasted like nothing. It wasn’t cheap, either. But we decided to give it another chance, seeing as it was Wine Week. We thought the half-price wine might offset the NYC food prices. Big mistake. I asked for non-sweetened bread and the busboy (because the waitress was MIA) said he’d look into it. He never came back. My appetizer was scallops with an unfortunate amount of pork belly. These large, ungainly pieces completely overwhelmed the scallops. My entrée was lobster ravioli with… wait for it… pork belly! I don’t understand it. Lobster is rich. So is pork belly. Why pair them together? The ravioli was made with ricotta and lemon peel, which I felt overwhelmed the lobster. The waitress could have steered me away from ordering this car accident on a plate, assuming she had an understanding of how much pork belly was being served, but no. That would have required caring about her customers. Hubby started with the octopus and wanted to like it, but it was rubbery. His Amish chicken was no better—it was dry and overcooked. I see the list of local producers Bailey’s touts on their menu. I think they should remove them, as they do all of them a disservice with their ingredient pairing and cooking. What a waste of good raw materials. And I don’t know why Bailey’s bothers with a fancy wine list. Any wine is destroyed when you eat dessert first. One last thing is the décor. It wouldn’t matter a bit if the food were any good. But as it is, it looks like summer camp, circa 1950. It’s just sad. On top of this heaping disappointment, Bailey’s is expensive. Talk about buyer’s remorse. We shall not return.

Went here for lunch after the Aldrich museum. Nice menu. Very good service. Had their special woodfired pizza. It had BBrazilianBrazilianBrazilian sausageBrazilian sausage which actually tasted like a bossy, a disappointment, cheese and onions. The crust was excellent among the better pizzas I’ve had. We had a large salad with oven roasted vegetables and capers. It was quite good but perhaps too much dressing for my taste.

I came here for a bridal shower and had a wonderful time. The service was prompt and the waitstaff attentive, and the food was good. I really liked the bruschetta and the eggplant stacks, and the salmon was tasty as well. The restaurant is decorated with an eclectic and fascinating combination of old books and random items, which add to the overall "upscale barn" atmosphere.

This is a nice local place with a lively bar and an energetic atmosphere. Service was excellent. The menu was fairly standard pub fare with some interesting twists. Get the burger with fried cheese curds and onion rings. It's a lot of meal, and even comes with a side of fries. Salads and main courses were good too. And they pour a really nice glass of wine. Check it out.Thank you for the kind words Parker. We hope to see you soon!
