Sarge's Sports Pub & Grub

Sarge's is among the most popular places in Rangeley. It has customers when everyone else is empty or already closed. If you're looking for burger and beer, or an appetizer and beer, this is the place. Great place to watch sports --- lots of TVs. It is a lively fun spot.If you are coming for the food, it is going to disappoint. It's average pub fare. The pizza is dull and seems kind of commercial. Burgers are OK, but expect rare no matter how your order it.Service is average -- no problems. Reasonable pricing. It's a good spot for a large group. It's the best and only choice at 9PM when the sidewalks of Rangeley have been rolled up.Beer, buffalo wings and the Red Sox Game --- You'll be satisfied.

During a power outage in Rangeley we jumped up in the morning and went to Keep’s for breakfast. The coffee was delicious. The ‘special’ breakfast was 2 eggs, 2 sausage patties, fried potatoes and French toast. Everything was cooked just the way I like it, especially the eggs. It’s a tiny restaurant and was very crowded. We were lucky to get the only empty table and service was pretty quick considering it was very crowded. Before leaving we purchased some banana bread which was delicious.

We’ve been here for dinner many times and thoroughly enjoyed the pub atmosphere next to the fireplace. However, my review is for the front porch to have cocktails and German Pretzels and Beer Cheese appetizers while sitting on the spectacular crisp white deck in front of the Inn. Erica makes great cocktails such as side cars & old fashions -how do you beat that? Add beautiful flower boxes lining the historic and well maintained front porch

Visited this morning due to the good reviews on trip advisor to buy a dozen bagels. Unfortunately the bagels were so dry all of us couldn’t finish eating them. Must have been old bagels. Too bad, like to support local business.

Not a lot to say, if was food, edible and filled a hunger gap.I had the burger a rather thin Pattie, I suspect not home made chips and coleslaw, whilst my wife had the meat loaf which did not wow us but again perfectly edible. Thus average.Sad to hear, we serve 6oz Certified Angus Beef burgers, and we do not advertise "homemade chips". And not everyone can compete and win against "moms meatloaf" though for many, we come pretty close.Hope your visit in Rangeley was an enjoyable one.

Parkside was excellent!!! Downtown Rangeley. Hamburgers are freshly ground everyday. All items made on site. We had a specialty burger, fresh cut fries and one of the best clam chowder we have every had. Coconut cream pie was just like mom makes. Our waitress Becky just couldn’t do enough for us. You won’t be disappointed!

Wicked pleasant dinner with fresh green beans and roasted purple potatoes from the owner's garden. THose were paired with the rack of lamb special cooked to perfection. Although it was a Monday Forks was crowded ( crashing dishes took some of the edge off the enjoyment). Forks offers a varoity of small plates as well and an excellent wine list. We will definitely come again.

Had dinner with friends in this great location on the lake. The Baby Back Ribs are served on a large wooden platter with fries, coleslaw and cornbread. Great presentation and really good Ribs. The lamb was very tasty, but way undercooked. I asked our server to cook it a bit more. The second time around it was cooked ok on the outside but totally raw near the bone. Service was very good.

Had dinner with a friend 10oct. I had the haddock on a risotto and she had what appears to be the favourite here the seared scollops. Both meals served within 10 mins of ordering and drinks flowed , possibly coz we sat at the bar . I take no alcohol but there appeared to be a nice beer selection available. The owner whilst in his forties is very well travelled and obviously picked up a lot experienced, first meeting and first visit to this restaurant, I'm a yearly visitor to the area for the last 16 years and this would be my place of choice to go out to for dinner.
