We each ordered burgers medium rare. They were perfectly prepared. The burgers are prepared using a custom blend of beef brisket, short ribs, and chuck tenderloin. This mixture assures a juicy, tasty burger.There were enough beer choices for every palate. We really enjoyed our dinner.Note: We ate relatively early and were seated immediately. By the time we finished our meal, every seat in the restaurant was taken! This is a testament to the quality and popularity of the establishment.

Monday lunch. Webster House is a great location for a business lunch, a wedding, or another special event. We all enjoyed our fresh salads and sandwiches, but four people for lunch ran $90 with no alcohol. The downstairs is a women's clothing store, and the upstairs is the restaurant and meeting rooms. Free street parking or a garage across the street. Attentive service.

In Kansas City for two nights, on our way to Branson from family reunion in Iowa. Heard about Kansas City Steak, and had to try the 801 Chophouse. Used Uber to get here from our motel. Greeted and we had drinks at the bar. Upon seating at our table, Andrew was introduced and took Great care of us all evening. Great filet, and Ribeye , side of baked potatoes and carrots delivered and cooked to perfection. Great drink and wine selection. Very attentive staff, including managers, and support staff, very attentive and at the table several time throughout the evening . One of the best meals we have experienced while traveling all over the USA. Give the 801 Chophouse a visit, well worth your time !

My wife and I split a 3 sampler and it was absolutely perfect! Our waitress was prompt, kind, and helpful. Not only did we have a great time and a great meal, looking around the restaurant, everyone else seemed to be doing the same. I highly recommend Jack Stack Barbecue even with the long wait times to get a seat.Thanks for the review!

I thought the concept of "Cafe Gratitude" was to bring in those who cannot afford a fancy meal (prices are not cheap here) and the "haves" and "have nots" could share a table and a meal. That doesn't seem to happen at this location. Apparently, according to our server, the California locations have more of that - people donating to pay it forward so that others who come in can have a subsidized, discounted meal. Anyway, the food was good. Service good. Atmosphere is funky chic - hippy-esque. It is a tasty spot. Would not mind popping in again next time we are in Kansas City.

Was recommended by a local. We went for early dinner at 430 and was told the wait would be 45 minutes. The wait was actually 15 minutes. We had the burnt ends; melted in your mouth, lamb ribs; a little gamey but full of flavor, brisket; was ok, half chicken; my favorite part of the meal. Service was exceptional! I cannot say enough good things about Bluestem! We had an absolutely marvelous experience. We've spent some time in Michelin star restaurants and this is definitely on par with them. The food was edible art and the wine pairings were perfectly on point. Make a resy now! You will not be disappointed!

We had been before and it was a good experience. However tonight Darius made our experience excellent. We took friends that had never been because we loved the food the first time. But with Darius as our waiter and the care and attention to detail, he made this experience beyond any expectation we may have had. Great food, phenomenal service. We will be back.

There are many famous barbecue joints in Kansas City but we picked one Iâve never been to.Q 39 is a quality restaurant with very good barbecue.
