I'm only reviewing this from a food perspective....the "recreational experience" itself I included in a separate "Attraction" review. The food here is definitely not top-rate. I would of course never plan on coming here just to eat; of course, no one does, and the food plays a supporting role to the overall activities. Regardless, the food generally isn't a highlight. The party-provided pizza looked and smelled good...however, the taste was not good at all. The cheese and sauce was actually good, but the dough was very rubbery and tasteless. We also ordered two salads, and they definitely were not worth the cost. Very little meat was included (even with a $2.00 upcharge to get chicken on the Caesar salad), and the size was pretty paltry for the price charged. The taste of the Caesar salad was actually good; we were just disappointed in the size. The crispy chicken salad had hardly any chicken, and was marginal.Overall, don't go to Castaway for the food...go for the other activities!

Leo's is good, but average. Good variety if items on menu, with fair pricing. Ast couple times I've been here the service was average at best and restrooms smelled like urine and needed servicing.

Tomato Brothers

Stopped in after a late afternoon at the outlet mall. The parking lot was packed there was a 25-30 minute waiting list, but it was well worth it! We decided to wait at the bar and it was so comfortable there, we took our name of the wait-list and had our meal at the bar. Great service, lots of room to eat, and super comfortable bar stools! We started with the Artichoke Dip. OMG, was it delicious. A generous portion of dip served with slices of their famous bread sticks and a few carrot and celery strips (who eats veggies when you have all that yummy bread??). We both said next time we have a craving for Artichoke Dip, we're making the hour drive to Tomato Brothers--totally worth the trip! My friend ordered the Apple (Chutney?) Pork Chops--one of the nightly specials--and I had the Chicken Marsala. More of those bread sticks came with the meal, as well as side salads to start. Both of our meals were huge (a big night for leftovers!) and really flavorful. I ordered carry-out, too--for meals over the weekend. In addition to my leftovers, I brought home the Appetizer Combo (wings, potato skins, cheese quesadillas, and ribs)--enough for hubby to snack on that night and then the two of us to have lunch the next day. Also brought my favorite salad--the Apple Orchard--with their fabulous Poppyseed dressing (and bought a bottle of dressing home, too). Wish this was closer to home--but then again, my waistline would expand exponentially. I've tried ribs, pasta, chicken, Greek Salad, and pizza here over the years, too. Everything has always been generous portions and delicious. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner, casual or date night. It's excellent!

Food was hot which I like. I ordered chicken breast, green beans and potato wedges. The chicken was so dry you haas to drink to swollow it. The green beans were very good. Potato wedges were actual French fries which were on the cold side and soggie.

My husband and I stopped here on Wednesday morning about 9:30. The restaurant is a converted Big Boy. We were waited on immediately. I had a omelet that was served with a large serving of crisp hashbrown potatoes. I chose an English muffin rather than toast. Our coffee cups were filled 3 times with steaming hot coffee. Prices are reasonable and service is fast. My husband has been here several times while working but this was my first time. We would definitely eat here again.

First and last visit to this location. This was the slowest service I have ever experienced at a Subway, and there were two people working! They totally didn't want to be there, you could tell.

Leaving in a nearby town, we have driven past the Bloated Goat several times and finally decided to stop for dinner. We weren't expecting too much but even with lower expectations, I was disappointed. Food is okay. Our server did a good job. So what was disappointing? There were three things that definitely detracted from this visit: 1. The music was so loud we could barely talk to each other at the table. 2. The bartender came over at about 8:30 on a Saturday evening and asked if we wanted to pay our tab as they were going to close soon. It seemed fairly busy so this was quite a surprise and made us feel rushed in finishing our drinks. 3. Without telling us, there was a service fee added to our bill for using a credit card (Visa). It was a small charge but telling your customers about the this service fee up front would be appropriate rather than having it be a surprise. If the food was outstanding I might return but overall, not worth going out of the way to eat here.

We went new year's Eve for a combined birthday and new year's Eve party. We had fantastic service. The drinks were good, the service was fantastic and friendly. No one had to wait for service at any time. Upstairs is small which makes for intimate contact with staff and the owner - she was great. The food was good. The special was Greek style lamb chops which was gone by 5pm; too bad. The menu description sounded great. The artichoke dip, potato skins and pot-stickers and the dip assortments were some of the best I've ever had. Yes, it is off the beaten path but well worth the drive. Meals are well priced, drinks were strong.
