The day we visited there happened to be a large golf tournament, and the grille was packed with patrons. It was lively and service was pretty good, but donât expect to hear conversation at your table! Menu is interesting with lots of tasty options and generous portions. Prices are fair. If there werenât 50 golf carts parked outside of the windows, there might be a nice view, too. I would return to this restaurant to try different meals because they looked inviting...hopefully not on a tournament day!

Here at 11:30 am... they have no fish options on the kids menu. This is a fish restaurant... they are out of brisket and they just opened.... and they are out of bread for a while. Enjoyed the lunch buffet with my kids. 6 types of pizza, rolls, salad, and 2 soups available, as well as cinnamon dessert pull-aparts. Love their crust and speciality pizzas. Clean restaurant. Friendly staff. $8.99/person on weekdays; drinks extra. Will return!

We arrived with a party of eight, the hostess was a bit shuffled and not well polished. She put two tables together up towards the front door, but never really "seated us" as stood waiting. We finally just sat ourselves down as the tables were ready. I am guessing an issue for her may have been how to get a server over to us in that section taking so much time?Server finally arrived, took orders, and we waited for our food. I ordered the All you Eat Fish Fry. Throughout the dinner, our waitress only returned once shortly after receiving our food. She never came to check-up on whether anyone needed more drinks or additional Fish at our table. I had been without any food for 15-20 mins by then. When she finally returned and asked whether I wanted any more to eat, I explained it had already been much too late by then. All of our party had finished eating. We just asked for our check. Nobody at the table really raved about the food. Relatives suggested coming here and wife wanted steak for lunch. We haven't been here, but I'd call it an upscale steak restaurant. Two of our party ordered the prime rib sandwich combo which should have been half sandwich with soup or salad, but got the soup and then a full sandwich. When mistake was pointed out she was able to change the bill and they got what had been brought for a lower price. One "special order" wasn't prepared correctly and that was quickly corrected too. My French Onion Soup was very good - lots of cheese! Good Burger, wife like the steak.

Been there quite often and am never disappointed. Chicken is great, steaks are great, fish is great. Never had a bad meal or bad experience. In fact it's almost like going down home for dinner with the family. The corn fritters are evil good. The waiting area while you're waiting for your party to get there is interesting. It is quite a collection of antiques and memorabilia. There is no "full bar" but they an serve you almost any mixed drink you ask for.

While visiting in Bolingbrook, we decided to try the Family Square restaurant for supper after church on Christmas Eve, mainly because it was close to our hotel and only one of a few places still open. When we arrived, there were only two or three other tables filled. Our waitress, Cheryl, was excellent, and very friendly. Right after we placed our orders, the restaurant started filling up. Being Christmas Eve, the owner had expected a quiet evening and had given most of the servers the night off. So with the sudden rush of customers, Cheryl was bombarded. But she never stopped smiling, and everyone was very apologetic for the slower than normal service. The food was excellent. The hot bread and butter was to die for. I had the creamy chicken and rice soup, which was nice and hot on a cold night. My turkey and stuffing and mashed potatoes were very tasty, and a large portion. All in all, a very good experience. If ever back in the area, I would definitely go back.

First time visiting a Teds. I saw the reviews and maybe my expectation were a little high. A party of 3 we ordered salads with our meals and I order a Bison NY Strip steak. We asked for the salads first, but the meal came out first, so we canceled the salads. My steak was cooked they way I like it but was tough and it wasn't seasoned that I could tell. One of the other members of the party ordered the same steak and he said it was really good. Overall just OKKen, we're sorry to hear we didn't leave the best impression after your recent visit. After my last local review of another place that had a terrible version of a Monte Cristo, I had to have a real one. Cheddar's never lets me down. they offer a great lunch combo, and just half a Monte Cristo is plenty, along with a fresh house salad. they have four other entrees that you can combine for a price of $7.99. I also had a coupon for a free Queso and chips, so I really ate well. I loved the hot cheese sauce, and the fresh chips. My salad had a variety of ingredients, including egg, cheese, carrots and croutons. The pomegranate balsamic dressing was a nice change. My only comment is that the croissant is about half the size that they used to serve. Still flaky, and so delish. Then came the perfect Monte Cristo, so thick, you need to use a fork and knife. A side if raspberry sauce for dipping, and a deep fried crispy outer coating to die for. The girl at the next table ordered the same thing. Something must be in the air. Service was great, and I will be back soon.

Honey-Jam Cafe is a great place to go for breakfast. They have an excellent breakfast menu. All 6 people in my group ordered a different breakfast meal and everyone loved what they got. They don't take reservations though. So if you go on a busy holiday like we did (Mother's Day), be prepared to wait an hour or more to be seated.
