I like the atmosphere--old building, mezzanine seating, interesting bar with hi-def screens. The music was chosen by wi-fi juke box request (Hotbox?) which I really liked. I had ribs, my wife had the meatloaf sandwich; both were very good. The service was friendly and efficient...I would definitely go back.

They have a remarkably original menu! Love their fried cheese curds, their roasted beet salad, and their burgers. Had Boston Creme Pie there last week that was the best I have ever had! Well priced, great service, and an lovely environment! Try it, you will like it. I have food allergies and they are very careful to prepare the food so that I can eat it!

Celebrating a friend's graduation, she chose Dunderbak's for her celebratory dinner. Very good choice! We found the staff to be quick to please and the food was good. We tried the fried pickles for our appetizer, they were very good! Everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the Bavarian goulash which was fantastic. Beef was tender and the dish was delicious! Portion size was just right.Our only concern was some black stuff floating in our unsweetened iced tea. Based on another reviewer's comments, maybe management needs to take a close look at the beverage system and cleaning procedures? Substitute drinks were promptly delivered.I plan to return to Dunderbak's when in the area!Hi Kidsaregone,We appreciate your comments and for dining with us.It's always great to hear that our appetizers and dishes were great. Great food and excellent service in a nice and clean and friendly atmosphere. We had crab cakes (best we ever had), fried haddock dinner, salmon dinner, fish and fries, and spaghetti and meatballs. Everything was well done and tasty. Salad bar had nice array of salads (macaroni, red beet, pasta,etc) as well as greens and veggies and a choice of 3 soups (lobster bisque was great) and breads. All fresh and tasty. The Boston Creme Cake and Cherry Cheesecake were also great. A busy Saturday night and our server was busy and we were seated along the back side of the bar and she was still able to be very attentive to our needs and we did not have to wait long for our food. Very pleasant experience.

Excellent flavor, tender rice, onions, green peppers. Great entrée.Just a quick dinner. We went to this restaurant for the first time and the food was delicious, the service professional and friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant was upscale but relaxed. My wife had the braised short ribs with grilled cauliflower and I had the King Salmon with purple barley, shiitake "bacon" and haricot verts. Both were delightful, well prepared and with ample portions. If there was a downside to the meal, it was the table next to us. The tables are very close and we had to endure a rabidly intense and loud political conversation between 3 older women who obviously had a lot to say, even if little of it was in my opinion true or accurate. Perhaps these days such conversations should be left for more private settings so other diners who may not share your political views can enjoy their dinner.

Bolete is truly something special. I recommend this place to everyone I know who appreciates exceptional, unique and seasonal food and drinks. We came here for my boyfriend's birthday and the put a candle on our dessert. Very classy-no singing or anything tacky. The service was wonderful and were helpful in making decisions. The menu here changes daily, that's how fresh the ingredients are. They even assisted us with getting our coats on as we were leaving!! My drink was the blood orange boulevardier which was phenomenal (and strong). We shared a salad with the mushroom vinaigrette-so good. For the main course I ordered the halibut with roasted cauliflower and brussel sprouts with a truffle puree. I HIGHLY recommend ordering dessert. Save room people!! You will not regret it. We shared the earl grey ice cream sundae and macaroon with lavender syrup and lemon cake chunks. I think I'll go back here for all of my birthdays! Lastly, the decor was very minimalistic yet fabulous and complimented the old exterior of the house beautifully.

We arrived at 12:30PM and the exterior waiting room was full -- we checked in and (one) of the owners stated that it would only be 10" -- I asked if he needed my name and he said "no, I'm good." He was -- 10" later we were seated and he answered several "tourist questions." The waitress arrived immediately, took our drink orders, answered more questions and returned "shortly" with drinks and took our order. The food is homemade "diner food." Very good burgers, soup and dessert but most of all, you feel welcome -- almost like family! This was a very welcome stop on a short trip from Philly to the Poconos. They have been in business for 51 years and the locals flock to it -- you can see why!

Wandering around the city looking for a good place to eat. Suddenly I found The Henry. It was a real advantage to take cause the dishes were so tasty. I thank to the chief that we had a good meal here. The staff were very helpful. Everything were fine with the restaurant. We left the Henry very happy and glad.

We have been ordering for over 4 years. The stuffed pizzas are absolutely amazing and weigh at least 5 lbs (meat lovers & spinach/ricotta are our favorites)!!!!! The regular pizza, steak sandwiches and calzones are great too! We have yet to have an item from the menu we didn't like & we often order enough for 2 or 3 meals as the food reheats very well in the oven. There is enough variety to make almost anyone happy. We order takeout but the inside is cozy if you want to eat inside (there has ALWAYS been somebody eating inside when I pick up the food).
