This is the worlds biggest ceramic fountain made from around 3000 pieces of ceramic. It was established in 1971 by the artist Gunnar Nylund. It pictures two goose neck lizards (Scanisaurus) sun bathing.

The sea God Poseidon is a statue by Carl Milles. It was inaugurated in 1931. The statue is located at the top of the main boulevard Avenyn at the square Götaplatsen. The statue is surrounded by beautiful buildings on three sides: the Concert hall, the City Theatre and Gothenburg Museum of Art.
