We were a group of four. The tour was for approx. 7 hours in the car. They sent us a large enough car so it was very comforting. Our driver gave us pit stops on the way when we requested and our guid in Krakow gave us some stop at the cafe and souvenir shops for us so we had some free time and learned interesting historical facts about Krakow. Very interesting and comforting experience in total. Breakfast and dinner is not included so I recommend that we bring some snacks on the tour.

Fascinating trip back in time to WW2, the appalling treatment of the Jewish people by the Nazis and the takeover of Poland by Communist Russia. Quite sad but heartening to hear about their brave attempts to fight off the aggressors. Our guide was very knowledgeable and personable . Great lunch break with excellent food.

On this tour you will discover 2 aspects of Warsaw, so that your experience is not limited to the postcard-like streets and squares of the Old Town, but will go beyond it. The guide will be waiting for you next to the Sigismund Column (Kolumna Zygmunta) at the Castle square and your tour will start in the Old Town. The guide will tell you stories and anecdotes about Warsaw, founded at the beginning of the 14th century, focusing on the historic buildings of the Old Town. After the first part you will take a tram to cross the river and you will discover a different Warsaw on the right bank of Vistula - a bit it neglected, a bit artistic. You will see that this part of the city has a completely different spirit. The guide will show you hidden treasures in the backyards, some street art and popular bars. In one of them you will try Praga’s specialty - “pyzy”. The final point of the tour will be the former vodka factory “Koneser” where you can visit a unique vodka museum after the tour.

Lodz is not an obvious city. An industrial past and perhaps still finding its future. But yet it is probably one of the most thought provoking cities I've ever been to. My guide was superb, Incredibly knowledgeable and easy company and also really brought the history to life. The story of Lodz is a haphazard series of events that it would be easy to loose the thread of but things were so well explained and organised,, that this never happened. Piotrkowska has a unique grandess and quaintness at once. Lodz may be a rough diamond but it is real hidden gem that was brought to life. Great tour and brilliantly delivered. With thanks for a great experience.

I had a very wonderful tour with Ola ( Alekdandra ) who is most charming and very highly educated and an art and architecture historian, who is very involved in Poznan’s cultural affairs and its preservation. She showed me a great deal of the beauty of Poznan and it’s fascinating history. It was really like taking a college course???? If you are lucky enough to visit Poznan you must request Ola as your guide. She can be booked through Get Your Guide Poznan.

Come along on this self guided audio tour of Wilanów Palace is Poland's "Little Versailles", the home of its greatest King, Jan III Sobieski, a legendary man of many virtues, talents and interests. He was a man who loved his family, God and country and sought peace to develop and uplift his people during his golden era. Yet when peace was threatened, he was a man with a talent for war. For the next 60 minutes, we will explore the Palace complex together, learn its story and reveal secrets discovered by archaeologists and researchers only a few years ago. There are many great attractions in Warsaw, and this tour is a way to learn about them and gain new insights into the city, explore at your own pace and get a lot out of the tour without the crowds limiting what you can hear or the time you can pause for photos, or getting in the way. It takes ~70 minutes to complete, and allows one to pause and restart at will if you want to spend more time somewhere or take a lunch break. There's genuinely more info here in this short walk than in the 2 hour guided tour. Once you're done you have a knowledge of how to orient and get around in Warsaw's main tourist district, and have new places to put on the list of attractions to explore further.
