I went to the âtwee herenâ bistro few weeks ago, and I had a very good experience there; because the bistro website mentions Palmette restaurant as âsisterâ restaurant, I decided to give it a shot..The restaurant was empty on Tuesday at 20:40, very warm inside, service rather slow and not excessively friendly.I had a bavette which was good, however all veggies were black burnedIn short, no atmosphere, cooking average, service average, prices not on the cheap side.

What a lovely place!We came for dinner and what we got was fantastic food in a lovely location, served by super nice staff. You do need to make a reservation and there is a good reason for it - very nice place with delicious food. Thank you Rose & Team for this very nice evening!

Stopped in Sunday morning (7/14/19) to get a bite to eat with my wife. We ordered coffee and a meal. Coffee arrived and then we waited for over 30min for our food, which was never served. Not once did the server check on us. 3 or 4 different tables were served that arrived well after us. I noticed a meal that looked like ours on the back countertop of their kitchen getting cold for the last 10minutes before we finally got fed up, paid for the coffee, headed down the street to another café.Dear D. Buran, I am very sorry to hear that had a very bad experience. Thanks for sharing it with us. We are doing our utmost best to serve every guest in the best way possible which has not been done during your visit. 30 minutes indeed is way too long. I trusted the TripAdvisor comments and went there with my wife. It was fabulous! We took the 5 services surprise menu with wine pairing. A little bit pricey but definitely worth it. We will go back for sure! The place is top as well (old Dutch style farm).

This restaurant has a lobster week at the moment. Unfortunately their menu on line has the following information for vegetarians:"In overleg met u serveren wij een vegetarisch menuvan dagverse productenWe can serve a special vegetarian menu for you made of daily fresh products."They say it's 'where fine dining makes a difference'.It certainly made a difference to my wallet. For 35 euros I was given a single vegetarian sushi piece as an 'amuse Bouche.'This was followed by two delicate lettuce leaves with an apple salad and a single poached free range egg as a starter. The main course was plain risotto, charred cauliflower, caramelized something, possibly onion, thinly sliced green asparagus and a large quantity of hollandaise sauce. There were three deserts in the final course. Had I known in advance what my dinner would consist of I would never have ordered it or paid that much for it. The meal was dull and unappetizing. I did not complain as I did not want to embarrass the people I was with. This meal was vastly over priced. The staff were very pleasant and it has nice decor but there should be a sign that says. "Ongeschikt voor vegetariers." This is not fine dining. My friends paid the same for three courses with lobster!!!!!! I had an egg!!!!!!! In 2015 there are so many wonderful vegetarian dishes. 6@24, referring to the birthdays of the manager and her chef, offers amazingly good food, served in very ambitious recipes and when a la carte copious, dishes. Very well trained team, excellent executed dishes, based on amazingly brilliantly composed dishes. Had twice the wild oysters from Texel,overly delicious, beating the Gillardaud standard. But also the ris de veau, the Anjou pigeon , and the loupe de mer were all surprising dishes. I am convinced all dishes will prove to be perfect, as were the amuses. Solid quality of wines, with some interesting odd wines. All affordable wines were a bit young, but well served by the manager.Happy to be back here often and further test the chef!

Iâve visited this restaurant three to four times now and has been an amazing experience every time. Make sure youâre not in any rush and enjoy the menu from the chef, very refined cuisine with a personal touch (the chef usually explains at least one of the dishes in person at the table). Worth a try, I can only recommend it!

Just not to my taste, Iâm sure others might like it.Service was fine, ambience good.My issue with this is the âfusionâ style. I found the dishes unnecessarily complicated and made worse by the modifications - to the point where I wouldnât call it fusion, much more âconfusionâ. Disappointed.

Where to start? OK, the people!!! Outstanding service! Warm, professional team is so on top of their game that star restaurants could learn from them - concentrated, coordinated delivery of an incredible experience that is above and beyond - calming and friendly! The food is superlative in every way - fresh and exotic components in creative combinations that are delicious and yet accessible (without being pretentious or needlessly complex). The presentations were consistently beautiful, accommodated allergies by adding rather than deleting ingredients and were all caringly explained (not the usual robotic citations). We were so glad we took the surprise menu as it was surprisingly wonderful, course by course throughout the evening, not to mention the many thrilling and refreshing amuses in between. The Greek influence is apparent across dishes but is very subtle, leaving space for a fusion experience par excellence!

I actually came across Capriole via Google as I wasn't totally sure about restaurant reviews on TripAdvisor. Menu is limited as compared to other places that I've been. And that allows Capriole to horne their skills in these dishes. We had the chicken burger, pulled pork sandwich, salad and mackerel sandwich. They were all very tasty. Coffee was pretty decent as well. But I'd say it's more tweaked to the Dutch way of enjoying coffee. I like mine thicker and more robust.We were staying with friends in Den Haag, and the one thing is that you will need your own transport to get to Capriole. I didn't manage to see any bus stops in the vicinity. Overall a very nice place to chill and catch up with friends.
