Tropical butterfly garden and small zoo

Butterflies all over the place. Flying all around you, gorgeous to stand still and just watch them floating by. Also stick insects, frogs some snakes and parrots. Really good for my kids age 10 and 8 without being too lengthy. A little expensive.

I visited the theatre before , always a pleasure to be here.
I was attending the theatre with my 12 year old, enjoying a concert of the aforementioned group.
The theatre offers multiple Performances throughout the year and the atmosphere is always friendly. The bar offers several kind of beers and they also offer a pre-concert diner.
A nice location to drop by anytime: highly recommended.

I had seen these windmills from the highway A4 plenty of times, but it took me months to finally take the bike and ride from my home, Clingendael, to Leidschendam to see them up close... It's a nice ride and you end up in the countryside... might be a nice ride for those tourists that stay in the surroundings of The Hague. I biked from Voorburg to Leidschendam and then towards a town called Stompwijk and then you'll get there (approx 30 minutes if you don't go too fast).
You can see more of these line ups in the Netherlands with three windmills... It might be much smaller, but still it is the same principal as the ones in Kinderdijk... which is pumping the water out of the much lower polder through these three windmills into the higher canal. For those who love seeing Dutch windmills it will look nice and scenic. I didn't do it myself, but you can also make an appointment to see them from the inside.
I would say if you don't fancy going all the way to Kinderdijk, you want to see windmills and the Dutch countryside and still stay in the surroundings of The Hague than this is the place to be and it doesn't cost you anything!.

I was here for a party of my friend, and I am not a huge fan of heights. Thankfully, they have challenging routes that are not extremely daunting, so I had my fun regardless.
IT is important to have good shoes for this, ones with good profile, since it can be slippery, especially if it has rained (as was the case with us). Comfortable clothes are also good, but don't dress too warmly, it is vigorous work!
A lot of children visited as well during our time, and they ran around until they were too scared to come down, my only wish was that they were kept in sight more since we had to intervene twice to help a kid out! There is a reason they tell you to always take the routes in pairs you know!
The introduction was clear and the routes through the trees were diverse, we had fun for more than an hour running up and down!
