Lovely hotel right in the historic centre of Weimar
Reviewed By Nicola1182While this is a 'family hotel' we went here just as a couple and really enjoyed it. We got upgraded to a larger apartment, which was nice, and the apartment was very bright and comfortable with pretty rooftop views. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed the breakfast too. The hotel is modern but very tastefully done and is located in a very quaint, quiet cobbled street right next to the Goethe museum. The parking organised by the hotel was very easy and close by.

Nice improvement
Reviewed By Flughase_11Every 5 years our family plans a family reunion at the place where the roots of the family began, which was Mühlhausen/Thür. 5 years ago this hotel was a catastrophe and we decided only to go back to this hotel as it is the only one which can cater a big group in this area. This year we were very much surprised about the positive improvement of the service in general and the kitchen. It was like day and night from the former and even earlier experiences. Ok the hardware (Hotel itself has not much charm (Hardware), but the rooms are clean and quite big. The hardware itself is one part, but the friendliness and professionalism of the staff and the kitchen is another part, which counts as well 50% of an hotel rating. Therefore my big compliment to this 1000% improvement of the friendliness and professionalism of the employees and the quality of the kitchen. We have selected a buffet with regional dishes and surprisingly it was well done and tasty. Also the breakfast buffet has improved quite heavily. I do hope they keep this standard and even improve a little bit more, than it will be a pleasure to look forward to a further stay with the next family reunion.

Nice spot convenient to Erfurt & Weimar
Reviewed By Robert MWe stayed here is October for two nights... it is located in a small community surrounded by farmland outside of Erfurt, but is still only a few minutes from the city center... parking is beside the building... the hosts were very friendly and between her little bit of English and my little bit of German, we communicated just fine... they have a few rooms, but the on we had was an apartment, with a separate foyer, bathroom, kitchen, dining room, living room bedroom and balcony/patio access (it was larger than our daughter's apartment back home)... the lower level is a restaurant, and though is was closed for the holiday (we were there for Unification Day) and we couldn't try the fare, they did serve a great traditional breakfast with more offerings than we could eat... behind the inn is a nice sloping green area leading to a small river, so if you just want a nice walk, there is a great place to go...

A gem in a magical city
Reviewed By Kathy SSituated on a quiet street amongst splendid large and old houses, Villa Bomburg is an absolute gem, from the charming host to the beautiful garden to the beautifully and tastefully appointed rooms. Although there were only two of us, we had an entire suite to ourselves, complete with spa bath - a real treat! A continent tal breakfast is an optional extra and there's an amazing variety of food. The Wifi is great too. Eisenach is home to many large and beautiful homes as well as Wartburg Castle, which sits atop a forest-clad hill and dominates the landscape. Take a walk around the town and enjoy the architecture of this magical little city.

"Relax for a while"
Reviewed By Evelyn ZThis Hotel is located a few hours southwest from busy Berlin. Take in the beautiful countryside and enjoy the tranquility. Great for kids as they have horses, pigs and rabbits to pat. We drove from the Mosel Valley and are now enjoying the countryside.

Reviewed By 1234567890ReiseprofiGute Zimmer und eine sehr gute Küche viele regionale Produkte und sehr gutes Preis/Leistung Verhältnis.Wir haben ein sehr leckeres Abendbrot gegessen. Beim Frühstück gab es regionales Obst das Angebot war sehr umfangreich.
