Lazuli Resort

Lazuli is the first boutique hotel in San Vicente, Palawan along the longest stretch of white sand beach in the Philippines. The resort is designed for families, couples and group travellers. We have three room configurations; the standard room (40 sq.m.) can accommodate 2 to 4 persons, the loft room (55 sq. m.) can accommodate 5 to 6 persons and our family room (110 sq.m.) can accommodate 10 to 14 persons. Our room prices are based on accommodating 2, 5 and 10 persons for the standard, loft and family respectively and we charge for Pesos 1,000 for extra persons. The resort has a pool and a wide opening to the beach. There is a very good restaurant on site which is getting good reviews from hotel guests, locals and residents from nearby resorts. Lazuli has an open badminton court and beach volleyball court. The area is good for surfing during certain months of the year. Island hopping and other tours can be arranged.

Virgin Beach

The rooms, pool, bar, and beach were great! It was nice walking on the beach (it’s like boracay 30years ago). No encroachment. Beautiful. It’s just that there were a lot of stray dogs and corridors had dog poop. Unfortunately, not everyone is a dog lover. Bring what you think you will need- toiletries, laundry soap, extra clothes, cash (no bank at all), medicine (no first aid kit on premises; bring paracetamol, bactroban, mosquito repellents, zinc oxide, sunburn medicine etc). Bring chocolates, chips, alcohol (if you are particular).

Coconut Garden Island Resort

A quiet island resort for guests to relax and relieve their stress. A beautiful place to enjoy your family vacation.

Very simple but beautiful and tranquil

If you're expecting Resort lifestyle and service this is not a place for you. If you however want peace and quiet, simple lifestyle and a beautiful beach right outside then I definitely recommend this place. Our cabin was simple but a bit worn down. The Bathroom could use a brush up. But we found the cabin ok for sleeping which is basically what you need it for. Beach is really nice. Beautiful clear blue water with the possibility of snorkeling. It is not the best spot for snorkeling the water is a bit rough and there rocks but you can borrow a life jacket. Food was OK. Again simple is the word that comes to mind. Suggestions for improvements: - a table at the cabinbalcony so you can play cards and games (cabin 11) - wodden beach furniture could use a maddress as they are really hard to lay on - more seafood and fish for dinner

Avoid

Reviewed By baroogabeach

Unfortunately we had to cancel our trip to Palawan due to the pandemic. We paid for our 2 rooms back in December 2019. We do the right thing by these small operators by paying direct therefore ensuring they receive all the money and avoid booking fees from trivago, agoda etc. Now we can't get our money back. The many emails are proving fruitless. A good lesson learned is never pay by telegraphic transfer. Palawan and Port Barton are still high on our future holiday destinations. But I know where I won't be staying.

Comfortable budget stay

Reviewed By MelGeelong

Comfortable budget accommodation about a 5 minute walk from Port Barton beach. No breakfast available but plenty of options a short stroll away. Room was fan cooled which was sufficient for the weather we had. Bathroom was fairly new and clean. Cold shower but hot water provisions have been installed and will be connected shortly. Free tea and coffee available through out the day

Relax in Paradise

Reviewed By chiaralynh

We had the best experience at this place. It's heavenly beautiful. John and his crew were treating us very nicely. You could tell that he really cared for his guest to feel comfortable and cared for everyones wellbeing. We had nice and interesting conversations with John. It's a wonderful place to relax but they also offer a island hopping tour, which we really enjoyed. The rooms were simple but clean and charming. I wish you the best John and hopefully you're gonna have an successful season after the pandemic!

Spent 3 nights there early november. The good points were room was spotless and a/c was good, laundry service good, owner friendly and helpful. On the downside wifi is non existent, no hot water for shower and no breakfast. Kindly provided with thermos flask of hot water, so was able to improvise ....badly needed as there had been torrential. Wish them well for future.

We ran away

Reviewed By charlesk418

A hot, smelly, not ventilated room in the back of the house where the watershortage and the damp made it unbearable for us to stay. The not welcoming host (who lets her servants say HI in stead eventhough she s there) and the claustrophobic feeling made us leave earlier eventhough we prpaid for more nights to come.
