One of the worse hotel & Bad Service
Reviewed By lovetravelling83Still staying at the hotel. Day one of the checkin the room key does not work after been twice down to the reception area lock not been fixed. Reception staff does not care even acknowledging the issue. Day 2 issue same issue not fixed over all the room and bathroom was so dirty with mould. See photos We have stayed many hotels in camp John bay and this is by far the worse one. Room moved was done by the team but look almost 3 PM to get the room sorted …. Bad service and after requesting multiple times to talk to the manger no response.. The team leader at the desk did her best but bad management who could have come out and acknowledge the issue.

Reviewed By PatEspirituThe hotel is well-maintained, it’s clean and the rooms are spacious. The beddings are nice. We had food delivered so I’d say you don’t pay a fee to bring them in. The pool is of average size and it’s fine. The hotel is full of paintings so it’s quite amusing. Staff were courteous. Open-air parking space. We enjoyed staying here.

The highlights were the resort's view of the sea and the very hospitable and friendly staff. Once we arrived at their resort, they really did their best to make us feel right at home! We would like to thank Ms. Yoj, Ms. Danella, Ms. Donna, Sir Abel, Tiny (sorry if I got their name wrong!) and the other staff members (who I wasn't able to get the names) who assisted us on our concerns, orders and requests! You really feel that they truly value their guests! The resort's amenities are well maintained and I was glad that they have a kid-friendly area, although we weren't able to stay there. I really loved staying in their deck as it has a view of the sea, and it's really relaxing! As my kid told me during our stay... "I love this place!" and I agree! Thank you for having us, Destino Beach Resort! We look forward to visiting again!

Reviewed By eshnolosraStayed here for a business trip for a whole week. My room was on the floor beside the stairs and behind my room was an empty lot. The aircon was hot when it’s daylight even if it’s on throughout the day. The tv is good, just no cables but offers some channels that are from abroad. You will have 2 towels upon entering the room and then necessities that you need like 2 toothbrushes (with toothpaste) and a hair comb. The bathroom does have a bath gel and shampoo, but I don’t recommend to use it. The shampoo does not even bubbles even if you use it with water. The bath gel is too sticky to use and like those cheap gels that you could buy in a grocery. And my room doesn’t have a door for my comfort room, just that color red (see picture) that separates it from the view. Also see the picture where there is a tarp (the color white) I just removed it from being folded and put it just to make sure that no one will see me showering. Hahaha! Overall, my experience with this hotel is good but I just hate the water from the shower. Too low to have a good shower and also not having the door to have a privacy while peeing or having a shower. Also hate the ants that roam around the walls of the room and the tarpaulin that just blocks the view from the back side of the hotel (which is full of household). The staff are friendly and approachable and also you will not have water of your own but they do have a dispenser and glass to use. They also offer free coffee and offers cheap meals.

BEWARE OF THIS HOTEL
Reviewed By bluewaffler27Checked in: Jan 25, 2021 Time: 9:51 PM Deluxe Room 12hrs Me and my partner checked-in at this hotel late at night since it was the decent one we found near the grand terminal. The room given to us was clean but the floor was really sticky. We remember checking in at around 10pm but I had to call the front desk the next morning (9am) just to make sure I'm not mistaken since they did not provide us any checkout information when we paid for our room. The girl who I spoke to said we checked in at 9pm and they will only allow a 15min grace period for us to pack up and leave right away. I asked how much it will cost for us to have an additional hour so we can eat breakfast but the girl said she is not sure of how and that she will need to call us back. After a few minutes she called back and said we need to pay 180PHP for another hour to spend at the hotel. My partner was the one who answered the call and agreed so that they would let us stay until 10am. They DO NOT SERVE ANY MEALS, only cup noodles and junk food so we had to order food delivery. My partner went down the lobby to get our breakfast from the delivery guy and also spoke to the receptionist to confirm what was our check-in time last night. She was told it was 9:51PM and not 9PM contrary to what she told me when I called. After eating we packed up our things and went down right away so that we no longer need to extend an additional hour on our stay. The receptionist told us we still need to pay 180PHP even though we did not consume the 1hr extension since it was already recorded on their system. I argued but had to pay since we were on a hurry. TLDR: WE WERE ASKED TO PAY FOR AN EXTRA HOUR ON OUR STAY EVEN THOUGH WE CHECKED OUT ON TIME. THEY DO NOT SERVE ANY MEALS. THE STAFF IS NOT FRIENDLY AND PROPERLY TRAINES, EVEN THE GUARD WHO KEPT ON STARING AT US. P.S I HOPE THE MANAGEMENT WILL TAKE ACTION AND TRAIN THEIR PEOPLE TO BE PROFESSIONAL. CUSTOMER RELATIONS NEED IMPROVEMENT. THE RECEPTIONIST IS INCONSIDERATE.
