My stay exceeded my expectations. I was here to attend a medical conference and needed to arrive 1 day earlier than my reservation was for. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate me and allow me to check in early which was most appreciated after a long flight from NY. The amenities in room and the facilities and services throughout were exceptional. Every restaurant had delicious food and impeccable service.

Relaxation in the desert

Reviewed By S L

We had a lovely time. While it seems that there were plenty of people on the property, it never felt crowded. We spent time by the pool, which also never felt crowded and there was happy hour, which had a nice discount on the food. We participated in the pasta making class, which was fabulous. I also went to the spa, which was very relaxing. We were upgraded to a suite as a globalist. Parking was also free for globalists, even not on award night. They have several chargers for electric cars. We brought our dog and there was no pet fee. Globalist breakfast was good and it covered everything we ordered. Overall, I would consider returning! The only issue we had was the bathroom-- there were TWO showerheads in thr ginormous shower but only ONE sink in the bathroom? Yikes. We also missed having a tub, but with thr drought, this was probably a good thing not to have.

There's 2 pools, and for us, the relaxation pool is great, with lots of recliners and umbrellas for shade, and water temps are perfect for this hot June afternoon. The 1 Bedroom suite we had also included a 2-person Whirlpool tub in the master bedroom, large bathroom with walk-in shower, and some luxury bath products from Gilchrist & Soames. Best Family Vacation!

Reviewed By Ann H

We checked out of the FS today and are so sad to leave. It was perfect for our family of 4, kids age 5 and 8. We booked our stay through a FS Preferred Partner, and I highly recommend doing that. We received breakfast for two up to ($50) and a $100 resort credit, and a welcome gift upon arrival. The Room - We booked the one bedroom suite with plunge pool and outdoor shower. It was perfect for our family of 4. The kids slept on the sofa bed and had their own bathroom and shower. The outdoor space had two lounge chairs, a table and chairs and outdoor TV and fireplace. There was a privacy wall and in the afternoon the plunge pool was in the shade, which was great for an afternoon dip. It was 100+ degrees every day so the AC was working hard. We found that if you closed the doors between the bathroom and bedroom, you could get the bedroom cooled to the right temp. We were able to request a box fan and our own refrigerator, which was really helpful for leftovers and drinks for the kiddos. FS went really over the top for the kids. They had welcome cookies and juice, and a basket full of toothbrushes and kids shampoo along with a kids book about cactus. They also had robes and slippers for them too - adorable! Both and sofa bed and the bedroom bed were very firm. It’s their low season, but we not hear another guest once so no neighbor sound issues. We stayed in the 600 building - a quick walk to the pool. Housekeeping - HK came twice a day. We called the first night to have the sofa bed put together and they came at the requested time. Towels and turn down were our only struggle this trip. With both kids and the pool, we went through quite a few and the plunge pool towels were not replaced after day 1, and we didn’t have enough bathroom towels on our last night and had to ask. They also leave the front door propped open when working in the room, the last night for 15 minutes, so it took a bit to get the room cooled again. I’m sure it’s policy, but thought it was odd. Pool - Was AMAZING. There’s a kids, adult and combined pools. Ample seating and the usual FS comfortable cushion and towel service. Lenny and Drake were the best and made sure everything was taken care of. My son cut his two toes in the pool on a rock and they were on it - bandaids, comped some of our lunch, send cookies to our room and comped a cabana the next day. Not at all needed, but it really showed how customer service focused they are. We ate lunch at the pool every day and the food was great and reasonably priced for a resort. Because it’s so hot, bring water shoes for your kids. We had to leave shoes next to the pool because it was so hot when you got out to walk back you’d burn your feet. Water shoes made the in and out much easier. FS also had some you could borrow. Kids Club - Our kids had a great time and it was good for them to get out of the heat in the afternoon. Reservations are needed, I was able to make ours about a month in advance. Be prepared it’s FAR from the lobby for the little kids with the heat, so we used the golf carts for a ride. Valet Staff - They were also so helpful and responsive. We needed to leave at 5 am and the night before requested our car be brought up from valet. The bellman arrived on time, took our bags directly to our car. It was a total of maybe 10 minutes - so easy! Overall, traveling with kids is hard and stressful, especially getting food. FS anticipated everything we could have needed and that made it a very relaxing trip as parents. Highly recommend this resort for families!
