The best available Resorts to stay near Biloxi

April 21, 2023 Jeremy Dunfee

Sitting along the shores of Mississippi's Gulf Coast, the city of Biloxi has been a favorite vacation destination for decades, with sandy beaches and calm waters perfect for jet skiing or deep-sea fishing. Having suffered heavy damage during Hurricane Katrina, Biloxi is bouncing back. The casinos and resorts are back in action, offering championship golf and live entertainment. The city has restored many historic sites, including Beauvoir, the home of Confederate president, Jefferson Davis.

Filthy, in the need of PAINT and cleaning supplies

Reviewed By brettm955

My daughter and I went to this hotel last summer because we wanted to get away and it seemed like it would be a great place for kids. First thing is first, she loved the arcade and pool, loved it. However, she was 6 and didn't notice the complete filth of this hotel. I chalked it up to COVID or what-have-you, but after reading the reviews from 2022, I will be taking my vacation elsewhere this summer. I was hoping reviews had changed and was willing to give it another try, but for the cost, its juts too damn dirty and gross. Being your own room waters and snacks, because once the coffee shop closes, you are on your own....no sundries store at a $200+/night place.....Now, i know ill get a generic response form the property management group, but just clean your hotel. Like seriously, just clean it.

The Mississippi Gaming Commission ordered that casinos within Mississippi, including Harrah’s Gulf Coast, suspend gaming operations effective at midnight on March 17, 2020. Harrah’s Gulf Coast will continue to work with our state and local leaders and our team members to get through this difficult time together. Harrah’s Gulf Coast will work with the Mississippi Gaming Commission to execute a smooth closing process and will reopen as soon as the state gaming commission determines it is appropriate to do so.

Tired, Old, Not much to offer

I have been coming to Biloxi for years. We stayed here about 10 years ago and thought we would give it another try after a bad experience. Well, that was a mistake. The rooms are in bad condition, food in the halls, small gaming floor and they closed the buffet. I am not big on buffets, but enjoyed the breakfast buffet years ago. Comps aren't the greatest. I can go to another property and get more comps and much better rooms. Room was dirty and furniture is tired. Mattresses was well used.

Just NO!

This hotel is probably the nastiest place I’ve ever stayed. We were down for “Cruisin’ The Coast” and if there had been an affordable place with 100 miles, we would have left and taken anything else. This place is in severe disrepair and smells atrocious. It’s been flooded way too many times and either not repaired or done haphazardly. It’s just trashy. There isn’t enough parking. We wound up having to park our truck and trailer at another location. The room hadn’t been vacuumed in so long that just walking from the bed to the bathroom, my feet were sticky and gross. There was no breakfast. The location was the only good thing about this place. The price was 10 times more expensive than it is worth. Don’t waste your money. Go ANYWHERE else even if you have to pay more.More
