Cheap motel that doesn’t worth 180$ per night
Reviewed By Shay SWhat you see in the picture it’s just what you get it’s an old motel in a very neglected area in Ventura The declaration of the room was very dark in the bathroom was horrible we didn’t even take a shower. We paid almost $180 for a motel that doesn’t worth it

Budget stay with a great location
Reviewed By phvi2617This is a pretty standard Motel 6. Not the newest property, but clean and simple. The front desk was friendly and I got good sleep, but the best part was the location. It's right off the freeway and within walking distance of both Main Street and the beach. Overall, a very good place to stay for the price.

Reviewed By Dave SThe check in process was very easy, and the person manning the front desk was very nice and honest. There was no breakfast due to Covid, and to get a room with a microwave it would’ve been nearly twice the price of the room. The room was very new and very spacious, almost to the point of being empty. The bed was very comfortable and the fridge was very cold. Finally the bathroom was very well appointed. While the hotel is very close to a decent amount of restaurants and to base. There was some issues. To start with the frist issue was the internet, the internet was slow and would randomly cut out. Secondly, the shower. The water pressure was very lackluster and it took about 5 minutes for the shower to get warm. Finally, the door to the room didn’t fully seal the room. I could see the light from outside once I turned off the light to go to bed. I am not sure if I would recommend staying here.

The female manager is a joke she walks around the entire property with her boyfriend talking crap and laughing about how much she doesn't care about any costumers. Every time I have been in the front office there is always someone saying they were disrespected in some way and she stands there with a little smirk. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else the ants and roaches will eat everything in your dirty room while your trying to unclog the toilet that was left from the previous customer. There is a reason this is a 2 star place and it shows the moment you step out the car

Reviewed By HollysyckUpon arriving you have to be buzzed into the lobby. Super sketchy. You have to talk to the front desk person through bullet proof glass!! The rooms are old, outdated, and look like a place where someone does drugs. I tried to get a refund through the hotel and the 3rd party we booked through but they would not refund us. DON'T STAY HERE!!! you are better off sleeping in your car.

Really Gone Downhill

The managent used to be tops up until early 2021 but the manager and desk staff are cold as well as verbally innappropriate. I was so SHOCKED by the negativity and awful behavior from a larger younger woman on shift before 7am who after some nasty, totally unnecessary words to my pleasant attitude, stared at me via the office as I was leaving. She can deny it but if there's audio & video no there's heed to report her. Doing so wouldn't matter anyway. Stayed at some far worse (local) 6s and I thought (or hoped) I'd be more comfortable but... surprise! There's more but just the worst of it is being noted here. Sometimes I suspect these hotels or any other business mistreats people for the entertainment, and drama of it but its a bad trend that affects them more than the consumer, who will choose to go somewhere else and talk about what happened. Why sue them? lol just don't go back. Probably shouldn't mention this and it may not be true but I heard this hotel is planning on removing the microwaves and fridges. The Lake is nice but you have to feel safe and professionally treated by the establishment you've paid to much money to. Unreal. She had a a mask on but I heard her loud and clear, but you usually see the attitude good or bad. An average person just wants a safe place to stay with no one bothering them or unwanted grief.

When we checked in and looked at the room it was cozy and nice looking. We left our luggage and went to our event. When we came back to the room it looked nice still. As we were getting ready to go to sleep the roaches came out of the walls it was on four or five that we seen but nonetheless we did not want to pay for their stay in our room. The room got comp for our overnight stay but we will not go back their again.

Reviewed By Scott SWe booked online and when we got the homeless sleeping right outside the room, smells like stinch scary people hanging out side and the so called non smoking room had cig burns in the sheets and blankets , we did not care if we way over paid $222 cause there were no other oh yeh the would not refund us , we left and just drove all night to get home I had 2 kids and really felt like this was not safe

Reviewed By eliavetaaTerrible terrible please do not stay there they do anything we can to keep your deposit the front desk clerk will checking out the same day I checked in a couple hours later told me he needs to go inside my room 20 minutes later after waiting at the front desk I gonna gonna room door I said what’s taking so long he said oh I’ll be through in a couple minutes I asked him what he was doing because I made a video tape of recording the room when I walked out because the hotel 20 minutes later to find out the guy says we’re not returning your deposit because of drug paraphernalia being left in the room I asked what drugs I don’t do drugs he said you’re gonna have to call back and speak with the manager tomorrow this place is a scam do not give them your credit card!
