Reviewed By margaretwM6494WJWe had such a great stay in Pensacola and all the better for the unexpectedness of it all. We had originally intended to stop in Destin but didn’t much like the look of it so carried on down the road. Luckily I had a guide book which mentioned this brilliant refurbished 1950s motel right in the centre of the city. The bars and restaurants are all within easy walking distance so very convenient for the travel weary driver, and it meant having a drink without worrying. The rooms aren’t huge but the bed was super comfortable, it’s spotlessly clean and we arrived just in time for beer, wine and snacks in the lobby. Breakfast is pretty much a grab and go but everything was available for you, again in the lobby. Yogurts, energy bars, tea and coffee etc. It’s great value and we can’t recommend it more highly - in fact it’s one of the favourite stops along our long road trip.

Reviewed By 65shereesRoom smelt like musty mold , it wasn’t clean to my standards, the sinks didn’t want to drain , and the sheets had burn holes all in it from cigarettes. There was a lot of activity around the motel that I didn’t like and there was glass liquor bottles everywhere in the parking lot . They claim to lay out clean towels everyday , but they don’t ! We came out to see the beach on a spur of the moment thing for our wedding anniversary, well that was a bad decision bc all of the nice places were booked and we got stuck staying at this crap hole ! Paid almost $800 for 3 nights and let me tell you it was not worth it at all !

Reviewed By jonjax1961Badly in need of update/facelift. General appearance both inside and out left a lot to be desired. In my room, the baseboards were dirty and the floors were slick. The trays used to hold the coffee pods on the coffee pot weren't the right type making it difficult to make a cup of coffee. Staff was nonchalant / marginal.
