the host was lovely and very helpful. the bed was very comfortable but the bathroom need updating. the lounge was extremely uncomfortable. there were good laundry facilities. the gardens were lovely and there was a separate covered smoking area so no smoking on the verandahs which is good for the non smokers as the smoke doesn't drift into the rooms.

Clean and pet friendly

We stayed one night, 2 couples with dogs. Both rooms were spotless, absolutely spotless! Even though the style of the bathroom was older, it was sparkling clean, even the grout. We loved the back door to the lawn area where we could take the dogs (a couple of steps down at the back door). Loved the car port roof as it was raining making unpacking/packing the car much better. The room had a small fridge with a decent freezer. Beds were comfortable. It wasn't a huge room, but it was big enough for us for a night. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Clean, basic room. Good meals in Hotel.

Stayed 1 night in a Motel room in the large Hotel complex. All very clean. Parking in front. Was OK for our very brief stay. The bathroom was very narrow and tiny. Larger, taller people might struggle to move around in it. We had Dinner in the Hotel Restaurant. Well cooked meals with loads of vegetables. The Free Drink Offer was great, enjoyed an excellent Pinot Grigio. All Staff pleasant and helpful. Cunnamulla is a lovely tiny old country town. The cottages in the complex looked very comfortable if staying longer and wanting more room.

Worst Hotel experience ever

Reviewed By Donna B

This hotel is expensive at $258 per night. The rooms were dirty, no fly screens on windows or the sliding door. The room smelt like sewerage. They have recently painted the rooms and there was black paint all over the floors. We had booked for 2 nights and unfortunately had to stay the 2nd night. The only thing that was serviced when the room Was cleaned was that the bath mat was changed. Beds weren’t made and no clean towels were left. I do not recommend this hotel at all. We have stayed in a lot of hotels and this would have to be the worst one. An extremely bad experience for longreach.

Clean Room

The room was clean and beds were fairly comfortable. Close proximity to main street and walking distance to a nice pub. Friendly staff. Each unit has one car park right out the front of the room which is good. Not a great view to sit outside and have a cup of tea as just looking at the cars.

We are a 4 star, resort style property in the west. With 89 very spacious modern ground floor rooms, 6 venues for functions and events (up to 400 seat), 3 bars, a 200 seat a-la-carte restaurant open 7 days brekky and dinner, and several break away areas to simply chillax during your stay. Why not dare to be different....relax and take your shoes off and enjoy the lush green grass between your toes outside your apartment door, whilst enjoying a cold beer or bubbles, or simply take a splash in the pool to cool off from our glorious hot weather.....we are one of very few accommodation properties in Roma with a swimming pool. Did you know we also offer a free courtesy bus service, enabling you to further enjoy and explore all that Roma has to offer?! Where else would you stay and play in Roma?!

Couldn’t have been more helpful

Reviewed By kateandjake

Having left Brisbane much later than I had originally planned, I gave Roma Explorers Inn a call to let them know. The fellow that answered the phone was really helpful and said he would leave the key with the restaurant. Having then missed the turn to Roma (that will teach me for chatting away and not paying attention), we were going to be much, much later - and again the staff were so helpful and said that they would leave the key in the room and they text us all the details. This took the worry of getting their after the restaurant closed off my mind. Getting into the room around 11pm, I was pleased to find a very clean room and a comfortable bed waiting. The bathroom towels were of good quality and the amenities were generous. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t great, but wasn’t bad either. In the country where water is a valuable commodity, it was completely understandable that the pressure isn’t what you’d get in the city. We didn’t eat in the restaurant or enjoy any of the other facilities, but given the attention to detail for everything else at the Roma Explorers Inn, I would assume they would all be top notch. The plan in the morning was to visit the Roma Saleyards for their tour - and the Roma Explorers Inn was only a stone throw away. All in all, we enjoyed our short stay and if I was ever looking to stay in Roma again, I wouldn’t look any further than the Roma Explorers Inn.
