Reviewed By viajera933We spent 8 nights in February. It is a small family operated motel. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The room is warm and very clean, the bed is very comfortable, the fridge quite big, the bathroom has a nice bathtub and the water is really hot, it is wonderful to shower after having been out in the cold for a while. Housekeeping is great as well, every day we found our clean towels arranged in a different figurine on our bed! Nice surprise! First time we see that. Besides, the location is perfect, right off I-93, close to Franconia Notch State Park. There are many beautiful walks accessible from motel, no need to drive to Georgiana Falls, for example. Beautiful and interesting walk even in winter! We loved our stay there!

Reviewed By WandderlusstI heard about this place from friends and my main interest here is the outdoor pool. Spent 1 night .... no issues. Friendly check-in.... room was satisfactory, clean, comfortable and warm. I was in one of the 400's rooms. I was a bit worried after having read some of the reviews here .... I had a great stay and would do it again. The outdoor pool and hot tub are incredible. As are the views. It snowed for a few minutes while we were in the pool! Perfection ❄️ Also ... dress warm for the area in general. It's extremely cold in February!

Quaint no-frills stay
Reviewed By Chris DThis is a family owned and operated quaint no frills motel. But with personality! We were greeted warmly by the receptionist and she let us check in early. The rooms are old New England in flavor and very clean. Available was a microwave, refrigerator, and in-room coffee. Quaint is the best way to describe the experience.

Reviewed By robinnuThe best thing I can say is the room was clean. When you first walk into the room it had a smelled closed off, very stale. The entire hotel needs to be redone. The bed was hard to sleep on even with the mattress top. Pillows where flat and hard. Pool was clean. The restaurant was good, we had soup and salad.

Cozy spot for a night
Reviewed By Bill MI booked a room here for our trip prior to Memorial Day. I saw there were some mixed reviews for some other name brand hotels in the area and so I chose to book here. It was a simple motel room with everything you needed and nothing you didn't. Everything was perfectly fine and we enjoyed our stay.

Decent cheap
Reviewed By 923shantibIt's clean and decent enough to crash for a night for the price. There is nothing fancy about this place. The bed was comfortable, bathrooms clean, heater worked fine to warm up the unit when it was 6 degrees outside. Breakfast - not much if offered. There was bagels and bananas. Coffee was decent. Enough for me to grab something and hit the road at 7:00 am. The only complaint I have is that the walls are thin, and the room next to me was up all night making noise and they didn't quiet down until 5:30am. Downloaded a white noise app on my phone so I could block the noise and go to sleep.

Reviewed By tdavis249921The rooms are poorly lighted, and the bathroom is moldy. The hotel smells like cigarettes and mildew. The staff is friendly and I'm sure doing their best, but save yourself a sleepless night and stay somewhere else

The view from room 20 was beautiful and the room was clean with a nice balcony. Anthony was very helpful and provided some great dining recommendations since we were new to the area. We will definitely be back!

Reviewed By Vacation436041I could deal with size and unlevel floors but, for $325 per night the furniture was unbearable. A cheap worn out mattress on a cheap worn out box spring on the floor. The linenes are cheap and disgusting. Could not sit on the couch, it was 12 " from the floor and the springs poked you in the a$$.
