Reviewed By Jennifer AWe were just passing through Idaho Falls on our way to Yellowstone and I picked this hotel primarily because of its proximity to the river. We did not expect it to be so wonderful! The room was huge with a kitchenette. The bathroom had a large walk-in shower AND a separate extra large tub. And to top it off, the complimentary breakfast included a little of everything, even a made to order omelette station.

Reviewed By U6845PGkimpWe booked a balcony room for a weekend getaway and got a balcony with two chairs covered with dirt and bird poop and a railing covered with cobwebs. It obviously hadn’t been cleaned for weeks. Paid a premium price for a very low grade room. The whole facility is very poorly kept. I spoke to the manager about the balcony problem and rather than taking care of us and making us feel like he cared that we stayed here he went into negotiation mode to see how little he could do to get us to go away. I’m not sure what happened to Shilo Inns. They used up be great places to stay and they truly valued their guests but now it’s very apparent that management doesn’t really care about what kind of experience their guests have. There are WAY better options for the same money. Skip Shilo and spend your money at a place that cares.

Reviewed By marjoriew369I was pleasantly surprised by the Idaho Falls Motel 6. Room appeared to have been recently updated, had laminate floors (SO much cleaner than carpeting!) and was immaculate. Convenient outlets, good Wi-Fi, cute dinette, micro and fridge, and plenty of towels. Heather at the front desk was personable, cheerful, and professional. The price was great and I would definitely stay here again.

An expensive dump
Reviewed By FrenchyB5Coming into the hotel the carpeting is threadbare and dirty. The sheets were clean, but again, the aged carpet not so much. Mushy mattress. Mold in the shower surround, a dirty fridge. I was sure glad we only stayed one night.

Won’t stay here again
Reviewed By TailssouthOne night stay only because we were exhausted, will not stay here again. The furniture is old which I expected but stained! The heater doesn’t work, pillows should have been replaced five years ago! No light bulbs outside in the fixtures so can barely see your room number, people sitting out in the dark outside their door. Poor lighting in the parking lot. People banging on doors all night.

A beautiful location, right opposite the Pinecrest Golf Course. Clean and beautiful rooms, Has attached Bar /Lounge. Close access to the Freeway, Snake River and Falls, fabulous restaurants and a little over an hour away from Yellowstone National Park. Friendly and helpful Staff, Free WiFi & Breakfast. Enjoy the peace and calmness of the neighborhood but still be close to where you need to be.
