If the one staff member had been genuinely concerned and helpful I would not be writing this. Do not continuously say "unfortunately I can't help you tonight" Its the managers off day and we are full. The room appeared clean but once we started moving around; things became a little frustrating. It took an entire week to receive a refund and when I eventually spoke to a manager they too seemed unconcerned. The best service I was given was when I actually spoke to a CSR over the phone..

Prices more than doubled from my visit last year. Then I found out why. The Lancasters sold to a new owner. We decided not to stay at the Flamingo anymore because it would be too heartbreaking to see the negative changes. Reading the reviews I can see I was correct to decide to stay elsewhere. A real shame. The Flamingo used to be home away from home. ?

I was so beyond sleepy and tired driving cross country I did not even dare sleep in my car in the parking lot now with the doors locked. I did get the hotel room key to go look at the room there was purple lipstick all over the pillowcases the sheets had long hairs in them and possibly scabs or something brown specs all over the sheets it was so gross words cannot describe I’m shocked and appalled that the best Western would have their name on this property they really need to look into this and remove their name from this place because all the other best westerns I’ve ever stayed out which I only stay at have been nothing but wonderful something went very wrong at this property!!! I arrived with my husband at 12 AM in the morning. Do yourself a favor and run away from this property. Also we’re trying to look at the room we had a prostitute wanted to stay in the room with us wanted to get in the car with us offering cash then telling us that she just got robbed there were several people around sleeping in their room and in cars it was so scary I’ve never experienced anything like that in my life! ??????? go see for yourself and make sure you record like I did! !!!! I was very upset that I even wasted any of my valuable life and time driving to this property where I could have been robbed and mugged or even worse!

Reviewed By cristiek2020We actually loved our beach front room. Our hotel room had separate rooms for me and my best friend that were staying together. It was one hotel , with separate bedrooms. I really liked that. Also had a TV in both with premium channels on the cable. We were a bit high up and there wasnt many moving carts so it was a bit difficult to move in and out but that's the only minor issue we had. It was July 4 week and OVERLY CROWDED, but we enjoyed our stay here. Tried to extend our stay but couldn't get a room.

Reviewed By margaretwM6494WJWe had such a great stay in Pensacola and all the better for the unexpectedness of it all. We had originally intended to stop in Destin but didn’t much like the look of it so carried on down the road. Luckily I had a guide book which mentioned this brilliant refurbished 1950s motel right in the centre of the city. The bars and restaurants are all within easy walking distance so very convenient for the travel weary driver, and it meant having a drink without worrying. The rooms aren’t huge but the bed was super comfortable, it’s spotlessly clean and we arrived just in time for beer, wine and snacks in the lobby. Breakfast is pretty much a grab and go but everything was available for you, again in the lobby. Yogurts, energy bars, tea and coffee etc. It’s great value and we can’t recommend it more highly - in fact it’s one of the favourite stops along our long road trip.

Beds were very uncomfortable, TVs were old and outdated. Remote controls didn’t have the backs on them. The “kitchen” area … well pictures will speak for themselves. Pictures of the hotel are not what it looks like.

We care what you think of us and our establishment and want you to enjoy the time you spend in our city. If there is anything we can do to make your trip and your stay more pleasurable, please don't hesitate to ask. We no longer have a Swimming Pool on the property.

Reviewed By Nomad322663Found this gem on trip advisor and called. They had a king bed room available. It was clean, spacious and quiet. Even though it is on the highway, there was llittle night road noise. Would stop again if travelling through.
