Sandwich Inn and Suites is a recently restored inn spread out amongst acres of oak trees. The inn is set back off route 6A in the quaint town of Sandwich, the oldest town on Cape Cod in the largest historic district in the US. The inn has been thoroughly redone to keep the rustic charm of the original cluster of buildings, but with all the modern style and upgraded amenities corporate and leisure guests appreciate, including new large HD TVs, in-room coffee and tea service, frig and microwaves, new wifi network, and a new bedding package with duvets, as well as a healthy continental breakfast. Studio suites are available with fully-stocked kitchenettes.

Reviewed By WeeeeeeeWhat a great “Hidden Gem”! First, it’s (obviously) in the first town when you go over the Sagamore bridge and right in Route 6A. The check in process was easy as could be, super friendly staff. Our objective was to ride some of the great CC rail trails. The location is really quiet and close to the Cape Cod Canal rail trail. The king room in the back was very clean. I really liked the laminate floors, no nasty rugs harboring who know what. The bed was super comfortable. The furniture is beachy and looked fairly new. There was a mini fridge and mini microwave on top of it. A coat rack with hangers and hooks. The bathroom was very clean, no odors, great water pressure. Although I didn’t partake of it, they offer breakfast and it looked like people were enjoying it. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to go again.

Reviewed By Linda DWe had another perfect stay at The Eagle Wing. This was our 7th time to visit this lovely property. The owners have impeccably maintained the grounds and rooms. If you want a peaceful adults only vacation with clean rooms, friendly owners, comfy beds and a lovely breakfast to start your day, this is the place! The back side of the property is a nice retreat with new decking and firepit surrounded by adirondack chairs. John, Melanie and Kaan know how to make your stay an enjoyable memorable experience!

Our stay here added to our week in Cape Cod so much, Cliff, Liam , Pat, and all of the staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and cared about. Very glad to help with travel advice and booking ferries, which really helped us plan our tour of the Cape. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Daily room service. Breakfast is included in the pool area, which is beautiful. Very clean pool and hot tub for the guest to use. Everyone I ran into there was so pleasant and happy. The location is terrific, you can walk to ferries, shopping, and fine dining. So welcoming. I was so lucky to have discovered this Inn, and I dream of going back. Also very good price for rooms. A really, really great vacation was had by all here!!!! The staff is so welcoming.

Reviewed By rgage012We loved our stay. The room was large and clean. Homemade muffins, juice and coffee every morning in the office. We were there Memorial Day weekend with 2 other couples. The outdoor pool area hadn’t opened yet but was clean and a good size. The staff was very friendly. Definitely would go back!

The TV could have been better as hubby watching Basketball (Celtics!) playoffs….easy to walk to the harbor OR town, walking distance to restaurants and shops….we would definitely stay here again. Also, we were in room #1 for 5 nights….and although close to the main road, traffic noise was not an issue.

Customer Service Nightmare
Reviewed By sharondZ7271OCI booked two rooms for four nights at this Inn and had to cancel my trip for medical and employment reasons. I canceled the rooms three weeks before my arrival date, but the hotel's policy was it had to be 30 days before arrival - based on the rate of the room. I did not know about this policy before I made my reservation. I booked through Expedia.com and they did not show me any information that the full charge would be forfeited after the cancellation period. So, I got burned - I was charged $2457.82 (the entire amount of the stay which never happened). I called and talked to the manager to no avail. I find it truly reprehensible when an establishment sets a policy that is impossible to keep.This practice is unethical and they are taking advantage because they had 3 weeks to re-book the room. Truly a "buyer beware" scenario.
