Perfect for what we needed
Reviewed By travelella2020The Candice Lucy hotel is run by super friendly and polite staff, who made our stay run really smoothly. We booked through booking.com however after some ferry issues we couldn’t make it to the hotel for the date we originally booked. We arrived a day late and explained the situation, where they told it us was no problem and we could stay there regardless with no extra cost to change the date. The room was spotless and extremely comfortable. The cafe located on the ground floor was also lovely and the food gave us some western options which we were craving after being on Tablas island prior to our stay with little choice of food. WiFi was good. No problems whatsoever, really enjoyed our stay. All we would say was it was a little difficult to find as it is not sign posted and is down a small alley so we had to ask a local how to find it.

Taj Resort & Spa is located a few steps away from the beachfront of Boracay’s famous white beach. The resort is perfectly situated at station 2, nearby everything you need. The shopping area (Dmall), restaurants, beach bars and nightlife are all at walking distance. All rooms at Taj Resort are comfortably equipped with air-conditioning, fridge, television, Wi-Fi, telephone and bathroom with hot/cold shower and amenities. On the top-floor of the resort, therapists will welcome you to the spa, with two massage areas and a foot spa area. Here you can choose from a selection of treatments and massages designed to relax and rejuvenate your mind and body. Taj Resort and Spa consists of two buildings: the main building and recently built annex building.

Reviewed By superpogi08We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Booked in thru booking.com. It was worth the price for its location near the beach and d'mall. Staffs were deadma but we didn't care much as long as our bags are secured when were away.

Too Noisy! Giving us sleepless nights
Reviewed By VinceCognosIf you are occupying the first level you will hear all the footsteps from the hallway and the stairs. Worst, you will hear all the movements from the upper floor! Its noisier inside the building than outside! Did not have a good sleep during my stay. Not a happy customer and will not stay here again.

Second to the Rooms, the rooms are nice, well cleaned, very spacious, especially to the Big Room that they had, nice interior, from kitchen to dining area to living area. Over all, the place was a Big Thumbs up.

Amazing location at a great price!
Reviewed By RicoguThis location is great for it's price. 1 minute walk to the beach. The rooms were ultra basic with no a/c nor TVs. Powerful fans will keep you cool. Large rooms for families and an area to cook if you want.

Reviewed By P4840WP_Отличный гестхаус за свои деньги. Находится на station 3. Рядом 7-Eleven. Слева после выхода на пляж, место совсем немноголюдное и можно спокойно позагорать и поплавать. А если с улицы выйти на главную дорогу, то рядом продуктовый рынок, где сможете купить свежие морепродукты. Маленький, но уютный номер, душ с водонагревателем, чистое постельное белье. Кондиционер! Единственная просьба к хозяевам: поменять подушки, очень они тонкие)

Hatten das Glück, ein Zimmer mit Küche zu ergattern, somit konnten wir auch ein paarmal selber unser Lieblingsessen zubereiten. Die Unterkunft ist schon etwas älter, aber ideal gelegen, nur durch eine schmale Gasse vom ca 50m entfernten White Beach erreichbar. Hier ist es sehr ruhig, wenige Leute am Strand und auch deshalb wenige Verkäufer. Auf alle Fälle werde ich wieder herkommen. War übrigens 2011 auch schon mal hier, allerdings im Nebenzimmer.

Reviewed By Richardski1967big, spacious room for 7 but all the rest you're looking for in a hotel are all wishful thinking. Smell of sewer is terrible outside with wet unpaved road you had to walk thru all the time. aircon is good with cable TV and wifi. stayed 5 days. no choice as we came on a Chinese new year. Hotel is situated in a crowded residential area. if you are a manileno, you will think you are in a squatter area. but you're not. its a typical province type of homes. Not a perfect place for kids. rooms are not made up on a daily basis. only 1 staff was there all throughout our 5 days stay. guests are provided with coffee mugs and drinking water at the lobby, if you would call that a lobby. hotel is ideal if you only want a place to rest at night. there is a guest message on the door that says "this is not a 5 star hotel so don't expect too much" there you got it. i will not recommend this for the choosy type.
