Reviewed By Hoshea PThis is a small and cosy family-run hotel. The holder is quite open and very friendly. An example: being on a route to Osijek, I understood I wouldn't be in time; I asked for a late check in and my ask would be immediately approved. He speaks German well as well as basic English. The hotel has a great location. It's a very quiet district of Osijek in a walking distance from the Castle, city centre, the Danube, and other attractions. In Osijek, I went on foot, only. Rooms are small but clean, good equipped, and warm - I was there in the last decade of February. The bed was comfortable. A sole problem I found is this: there is no night shops, kiosks, etc. around the hotel, there is no bar in the hotel; if you come late evening as I did, take whatever you need with you. My overall impression: a great balance of quality per money.

Reviewed By gurman88gurmanSmještaj je uredan i sobe sadrze sve sto vam je potrebno od kozemtike do potrepstina. Dorucak je odlican i posluzuju ga prema dogovoru, a domacini su jako ljubazni. Dobili smo na koristenje saunu gratis, a Silvio nas je vozio i dosao po nas jer nema taxi sluzbe u blizini. Zaista za svaku preporuku. Krajolik je prekrasan i potpuni je mir.

Jesenska bajka u "Staroj baranji"
Reviewed By Denis GOdavno sam planirala posjetiti istočni dio lijepe naše i to sam učinila sa obitelji za vikend 9.-11.10. Na osnovi pročitanih recenzija, odlučili smo se za smještaj u "Staroj baranji" Kneževi vinogradi i nismo požalili. Domaćini Vojislav i Zorica Šobić su nam dočarali svo gostoprimstvo ovog predivnog, pitomog kraja a ipak na jedan nenametljiv naćin. Smještaj je bio u novijoj kući dok smo doručak imali u staroj autohtonoj panonskoj kući gdje smo vidjeli i karakterističan ukopan podrum kojeg u Baranji nazivaju gat. Mogli smo se i uvjeriti da naša vrijedna domaćica radi zimnicu koju smo imali mogućnost i degustirati na doručku. Doručak je bio pravi baranjski što znači da je uključivao sve poznate suhomesnte proizvode uz odličan svježi sir i druge delicije. Na njihovoj web stranici stoji jedna stara rimska poslovica - “Da bi upoznali jedan narod i njegov kraj sjedni za njegov stol, probaj njegovu hranu i pij njegovo vino. Onda ćeš spoznati kakav je to kraj i kakvi su to ljudi.” Sa punim želucem je sve lakše pa i upoznavanje okoline. Tako smo posjetili Erdut, Aljmaš, Vukovar, Batinu, Karanac, Osijek, Đakovo. U kratko vrijeme smo se podružili sa 4 rijeke, manji Bosut, nešto veća Vuka i zatim Dunav u svoj svojoj silini i lijepa Drava na povratku kroz Osijek. O vinogradima Baranje bi se mogle ispričati priče. Ovaj put smo se ograničili na posjetu vinogradima i podrumima Belje. Vina su odlična i dobro prate jela. Imali smo sreće sa vremenom tako da nas je cijelo vrijeme pratilo sunce što je još više istaknulo ljepotu ovih krajeva. Što reći na kraju osim da bi svaki Hrvat trebao posjetiti ovaj predivan kraj a boravak u Staroj Baranji kod supružnika Šobić toplo preporučujem.

Reviewed By despinabarlagianniQuiet place, very reasonably priced (rather cheap I could say) , clean rooms, decent breakfast and a variety of local dishes to try at reasonable prices. Situated in the centre of the town it's only a few minutes' walk from the local attractions. Would definitely stay there again.

Reviewed By GTH275Very traditional Bed and Breakfast. We were invited to have lunch with the owner and his family as part of our Scenic tours package. The house is a very traditional working farm, with all the family members working hard everyday. Gardens and animals are all looked after very well. The meal was a basic vegetable soup to start, with all veggies coming from the backyard. Delicious! Then we had a pasta and ground beef dish which was also very good, complete with homemade wine. Great people! Thanks for letting us visit!

Centrally located accomodation in Osijek
Reviewed By davorin nLocated in a quiet part of the town, a few minutes walk to the main square. They have own parking for 3 cars, free of charge. Quiet street. The rest of street’s parking spots you have to pay. Daily ticket is 59 HRK. Room no 2, clean, was big enough, very comfortable bed. Big and clean bathroom. One night we paid 380 HRK. As part of the building is their great Restaurant. Excellent food.

Reviewed By gallen89The rate was pretty good, which was about the most redeeming factor about this facility. Beds aren't terribly comfortable. As the other reviewer mentioned, most of the lights in the room don't work. The shower was a disaster. After a single shower the hot water was gone. Even if there was hot water, though, the knob to make the shower head turn on was broken. The towels and sheets were stained and really worn. A few thousand kunas worth of investment into very, very basic things could turn this into a decent place. Would recommend for solo travel and/or single night stays, but I can't in good conscience recommend it for anything else.

Scam of a place!
Reviewed By Keki ŽThe owner is careless and most likely high all the time. If you can find him that is. The place was overbooked, the rooms were not as agreed upon, they blatantly lie about the bathroom, they say it's private but you have to share it. It's disgusting how the whole thing looks and smells. The trash is visible and on the hallway, and everything is dirty there. You are likely to have a cleaner bench in the park. Stay away people!
