Reviewed By orandr738603Of you are looking for a good location in Vittel this is the place to be. The room was nice but not more. It worth the price. Laurent was very kind and helpfull for us. The breakfast definitly is a good value.

Warm welcome after a long journey
Reviewed By HarryB83Stopped at this Auberge by chance - greeted in very friendly manner and shown to a room without delay. Well-appointed and warm room with comfortable twin beds. Service was speedy - good, concise menu of food from the Vosges region. Nothing was too much trouble.

Super Value
Reviewed By Paul NExcellent Value and the base for a super trip to Metz. Both met and exceeded our expectations. Only thing to note is the check-in experience which isnt the best due to Patrice - who was great - being totally overloaded at times with everything else that needed to be seen to with the building.

Bad Experience
Reviewed By 789nealewWe received vouchers for a two night stay from my wife’s family as a wedding present in October 2019. We planned to go in Spring 2020 but due to the pandemic we were unable to do this. AS the vouchers were due to expire in October 2020, we phoned the proprietor, who told us that this would not be a problem and we could instead use them in Spring 2021. Obviously due to ongoing covid restrictions this was again not possible, so we called in July when restrictions we’re lifted to discuss our stay. However, contrary to our previous conversation, the proprietor now told us that this was not possible and refused to honour the vouchers as they had expired. Initially blaming the intransigence of their computer system and, when challenged, told us that we should have booked at the time, and that “this is the law and everyone knows it”. We certainly didn’t know it and this should have been made clear at the time of initial contact instead of affable reassurances that it would be fine. Overall this was a very bad experience with a greedy and dishonourable establishment who are happy to take the money but display extreme bad faith and lack of flexibility when the time comes to honour their previous commitments.

Romantic getaway
Reviewed By 394elinedMe and my boyfriend went to this place for a romantic getaway. We slept in the threehouse ‘uthando’. We stayed for 3 nights, which is longer than most people, they usually stay for 1-2 nights. The grounds are pretty, in a nice forrest. There’s not much activity going on at the place. Breakfast was nice, half a baguette per persoon, a croissant, honey, butter. A warm drink and some orange juice. If you’re looking for a romantic stay with little to no luxury, this is for you.

Marvelous Chateau Mesny
Reviewed By Marlene PMarie-Simone and Pascal were gracious hosts. The Chateau is beautifully appointed, breakfast was wonderful. Marie helped with reservations. Pascal added information about the history of the Chaterau during WWII. A lovely base to call home while traveling!

Cosy hostel
Reviewed By Anke OVery cosy hostel. The breakfasts was good. The rooms are cosy and clean. There is a nice livingroom to relax. The view is beautiful. Nice walks direct from the hostel. The hill's to ski are half hour drive. Also the yought was happy with the pingpong table and gameroom.
