The hotel was very clean, modern and comfortable. Behind this hotel, there is a waterfall and in-front you have the mesmerizing Alps view. The staff were very friendly and helpful. If anyone is visiting Switzerland please don't miss this beautiful village to visit.

A beautiful, fully-refurbished Swiss chalet in the heart of Lauterbrunnen on the main street, just a few minutes' walk from the train station in the village. All bedrooms have en-suite bathroom facilities and most have valley views, with some looking out onto the famous Staubbach waterfall. There is a spacious lounge and a separate dining room, as well as an outdoor hot tub. There is parking at the rear of the chalet and free Wi-Fi.
Another fabulous ski holiday with Ski Miquel
Reviewed By dianelA3108SBWe had such an amazing time at Chalet Rosa at the beginning of March. We travelled with Ski Miquel. The staff were amazing, friendly, welcoming and helpful, the food was superb. The ski guiding was so enjoyable and enabled us to travel to the various ski areas without having to worry about how to get there etc. The skiing itself couldn't have been better. Beautiful surroundings and plenty of lovely quiet slopes for every ability. Another very successful and enjoyable holiday with Ski Miquel. Highly recommended.

Reviewed By Sylvain54321The room was spacious and luminous, with elegant and sober design. The bathroom was really enjoyable, with a door designed especially for the place. The service was good. The breakfast was nice. The view on the lake is eye-catching.

Reviewed By Will HCame late at night after booking on the train ride over. Very good location, close to downtown, 10-15 min walk from SBB. Nice little breakfast setup with coffee and conversation. Rooms were actually surprisingly big and nice.

Really bad service at the restaurant
Reviewed By lorenzaa315If you have 3 hours to spare to eat what you didn’t order, than you found your spot! Waited an hour to be seated, 1.5 hours to be served, received the wrong order and had an extremely rude waitress who told us that if we didn’t like it - we could go elsewhere next time!

The room was a bit small but very clean and balcony had an awesome view. Many BnBs now a days feel commercial and hence don't feel like a bnb. But this one is a true gem and authentic bnb experience. Highly recommended

Reviewed By PackidgeI don't really think this is a hotel as such, more of a guest house really, since there is no reception so check-in was a game of hunt and seek the owner. No real explanation of the facilities either but the recently refurbished room was nice enough with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. The road which passes in front of the hotel is quite busy and rooms on that side must be very noisy. The restaurant was good if rather expensive but no menus in English nor anyone able to speak much English either. The wifi didnt work in the bedroom and the lack of a lounge meant having to sit in the breakfast room to use the internet. Also the parking is rather limited in the evenings since the restaurant accepts outside guests.

Reviewed By Olivier vBy a long research in the internet, we could find this hotel for a five day family holiday. An 18th century building with all the charm that this brings along. Our plan was to discover the Jura area, completely unknown to us. This hotel is a great base for that purpose. A very warm welcome by Adrian and his great team. Also a great complement to the Chef. The food was delicious. Also, we noticed the very quiet area; no noise by anything nearby. It is for sure a place to return, hence to return.

Good Meal at a Good Price (for Switzerland)!!
Reviewed By Mark FAfter having a ridiculously priced meal at our hotel the first night, we were pleasantly surprised to get a good meal with wine and dessert for less than 200 CHF! Service was good and friendly. We have been having a lot of pumpkin soup and this was one of the better ones - served with pumpkin seeds a drizzled with pumpkin seed oils. The burgers were very good as was the venison stew - although a little too salty as seems to be the norm in Switzerland. The eiskaffee was excellent and their coffee is very good.
