Reviewed By CrewreviewsWe only stayed for one night but we would definitely return! Can walk to the lifts of La Colmiane. Parking on site. Apartments are no frills at all. But the owners are so welcoming and kind. We ate at their restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent and made on the spot. Only thing I would say is they need some Prosecco and a some Chardonnay. Views are great. Even have a heated storage locker for our ski gear. We will return without a doubt!

Reviewed By Mark RHighly recommended stop-over on the Rte Napoleon heading into the Gorges du Verdon, as we have done a few times in recent years. New owners Lucy and her husband made us very welcome and, being English, we were able to swap cafe stories with her as we own one back home in Scotland! They took it on in April and seem to have hit the spot straight away - the burgers and home made fires were delicious as was the coffee. Looks like we will continue visiting for many years to come and if you make it to Scotland Lucy, be sure to drop into our cafe!

En hiver, en présence de neige, l'accés se fait uniquement à pied depuis la Route du Télésiege, un panneau vous indique l'entrée du chemin: Quelques minutes (50 Mêtres) suffisent pour nous trouver. Expensive but worse hotel
Reviewed By Worldnature-photosWhen we arrived nobody tells us that we have to reserve for dinner. So we had almost no dinner that evening. Restaurant is not open for lunch for guest as written on the website. We had a very small room nothing to compare with the photos on the website . Only a simpel bed with a smal pilow. 1 chair on the room and a very small balcony. When we got the second day dinner the owner was going to bring somebody to town and nobody was there to serve us. The owner tells everything about his expensive lodges ( 3 x )in Bali but if he handle is guest like us ...... Also in our room you hear the motor of the airco unit and the . Breakfast is very expensive for what you get. ( 3 type of jam, juice and coffee 2 bread )

Reviewed By 473mikepAbsolutely lovely place if you want beauty, silence. We stayed in a suite removed from the hotel which was more like our own village house. It was immaculately decorated and very comfortable. We ate in the hotel and had ax excellent meal prepared and served by the owners Stephan and Stephanie. They were delightful and nothing was too much trouble. Would love to visit again soon. You don't know what you're missing.

Nestled in an idyllic countryside and ideally situated only 2 km ( 5mn by car and 20mn trough a footway in the countryside) from the medieval village of Tourrettes sur Loup, La Residence du Moulin offers you a relaxing and peaceful haven. The air-conditioned apartments (studios, duplex and 2-room apartments)benefits from uninterrupted views over the garden and pool area which you can enjoy from your private terrace on the groundfloor. The apartments also offer an open plan full equiped kitchen area, a safe, hair-dryer, satellite T.V. and free internet access. The pool, surrounded by sun loungers, heated from april to october allows you to swimm and refresh in summertime. A car parking is provided within the property , which is closed at night.
Quiet Retreat
Reviewed By Kyle ZWe wanted to experience the French Riviera but without the 24/7 Nice atmosphere. Staying at this beautiful place about 30 minutes north of the coastal cities was definitely the right move. It was a retreat. We could lounge by the pool and enjoy the hillside surroundings, drive into the small local town for food, or plunge into Nice or Antibes for beaches, etc. You will need a car to get around. The drive is extremely scenic but also curvy through the hills. The owner is extremely sweet and will help you with anything in a very timely manner.

Reviewed By gwilliamlieThe mountain village Entraunes is situated just next to Parc Mercantour, a wonder of nature rare in Europe. In the center of Entraunes the Auberge is located. We were received very warmly and the service has been like that throughout our two day stay. The kitchen is simple but of high quality. The pizza my wife had was exceptionally crockant and tasteful. My chicken with French fries, was similar. Definitely not dry -as sometimes happens- and very tasteful. The Auberge has a typical family atmosphere for people who like the mountains. The room was simple but proper and the bed was fine. Quality - price is in balance. And with that in mind I would give it a 7,5 on a scale of ten.

Reviewed By BMA_83_VarArrived from St Dalmas by Tete Ronde and pass of Sanguinière in skitourring with ski on feet and go back to St Dalmas by Cime de PAL with ski on feet. A very good dinner, a very good night, and the picnic for the next day was very good and plentiful.
