Reviewed By Plus2kidsStayed 2 nights. Parking garage located within the same building while the lobby in mid level in the mixed use building. Check in the in mid week afternoon was smooth with no wait. The hotel has a cruise ship theme and decor. The rooms and bathrooms were clean though the layout of the bathroom could be better. The shower curtains for the in tub shower lets the water flow out. Free bottles of water were provided. There was an in room safe though it wasn’t secured to anything. With the room in a single king configurations (the two doubles pushed together) the fixed bedside lamp were awkwardly positioned. There were in switch USB charging ports in the head board though. The complimentary breakfast was a typical Taiwanese fare (porridge and dishes) with bread and salad,fruit station for others. The free late night snack (noodles) were a nice touch. Overall, convenient location and a above average stay.

Reviewed By Weijen_WangThis is my 3rd time stays in this Marriott property, and this time was during the pandemic COVID (maybe?), so the services I had received was not at all respectful. 1, Unlike most of other Marriott properties, there is no pre-arrival email to remind if there any changes or services unavailability for Bonvoy Platinum supposed to receive, e.g. Executive lounge closure. Shameful. 2, Communication errors between FO and F&B about the breakfast offerings. 3, When I stressed I’d like to have a greeting to VP John Chou whom I’ve pleasantly encountered in the past stay, Mike Mao, Duty FO Manager however in the 1st instance, had rejected and saying “HE is the Biggest guy in the hotel over the weekend” (surprise!) This is regretful to see such a Sheraton brand I enjoyed in the past having such a bureaucratic feelings, and I never get a change to know whether my greeting message to VP Chou trying to reflect the issues for feedback is received, from June 5 Saturday till now. Pity. p.s. all other duty FO managers I met before were superb except Mike, just don’t like to destroy some good efforts still within FO.

Reviewed By Amir SThe room was okay, not too small but not large either. Its location is next to the highway so it could get noisy during traffic rush hours. On the bright side, it makes it easier for me to travel to customers that I am visiting within this area due to the highway connectivity making it easier. The reception and staff was super friendly and helpful towards me who did not speak a cent of Taiwanese mandarin. They have joint service with a taxi/transport carrier that could accommodate your travels within the area of Hsinchu and in addition to that, they also help with your transfer from the hotel to Taiwan airport. Breakfast was standard Taiwanese breakfast with congee and its assorted accompaniment. The breakfast hall is located at B1 and they have a small business meeting as well as a mini gym on the same level. All in all, it was a nice stay for me. It is relatively price saving as well!

Reviewed By Lee Y我這次受到飯店的錯誤資訊還被趕走，只好取消訂購，希望agoda可以謹慎處理，飯店不應該先亂刷客人卡，給錯誤停車資訊要客人自行負責。 I have made two room reservation with no gerantee but I was charged when is hot to the hotel. That was all fine but I was mis-direction by the hotel to the wrong parking which they supposed to cover the fee but refused after I checked in. Ms. HUANG was very rude for the mistake that she made. And Manager Mr. Wei was also not helping. He and one of his lady staff refused to help me call Agoda for the issue. It was a désastre for checking in this hotel. They asked me to cancel my booking with charge because of the parking space. I finally spent 40mins to call Agoda by myself for the issue. I don’t understand how the hotel can hire these kind of people with these kind of service.

Hotel Served It's Purpose
Reviewed By rayprodigyA very average stay. Did read the mediocre reviews, so didn't have high expectations. For some reason, unlike all my previous bookings with Agoda, they wanted my credit card on arrival to take the payment. This made me uneasy as I had always done the payment in advance. However after re-reading my confirmation email, it did mention the bill needed to be settled on arrival. I didn't have my credit card but they managed to take payment with the authorization. The hotel was well priced in relation to other accommodation in Hsinchu, located about a 3 minute walk from a train station and not too far from central Hsinchu. The hotel appeared to be doing renovations. Rooms were spacious not old or modern, and relatively clean. Missed breakfast. Overall a good value for money stay, will look at a different hotel if I visit Hsinchu again.

The tv did not work at all and given no decent restaurants really no choice but to watch white noise. Rather disappointing over all. Really off the beaten track. Good get away for some traveling by car.

Reviewed By Meng8217三個男人擠一間上下舖 下舖靠牆的基本上吹不到冷氣 一個晚上熱醒好幾次 包括現在 規定一堆 晚上回來準備休息 竟然還有一堆人圍著小孩在客廳拉二胡??到底是飯店還是音樂教室? 雅房?算了 我接受 但是所有的備品都另外收費是哪招? 一個晚上1800說真的我寧願多貼一點去飯店 沒有停車位 附近極度難停車整個房間只有一個插座 床頭連放個眼鏡的地方都沒有 房間小到連行李都沒有地方放 老闆 這錢會不會太好賺啊?隨便一個倉庫把張上下舖裝個冷氣就可當房間啊? 通風極差 沒有對外窗 這邊真的是我待過最差的幾個晚上 當兵都沒這麼糟糕
