Reviewed By Pealittle12Staff were so helpful and friendly a real credit to the business. Room and shared reception area were beautiful very modern but still comfortable. Pool was open and warmed which my son loved. Pool towels were available. Complimentary coffee available. Would strongly recommend a stay here

Awesome view and service
Reviewed By giovanaf469I loved this place. Amazing views, great staff. Clean and affordable. I will be returning to this hotel. We had a little issue in our room and they sent someone to fix it asap. They are very welcoming and family friendly.They have many buildings and they are proud if caring for the place. Our room was very cozy (we had a different room last month) and this time we had a full kitchen with fireplace and a hot tub. We enjoyed it!

A great spot just steps from the beach
Reviewed By Laurie COur room had a king-sized bed, a beach view, balcony and kitchenette. We were in the modern unit and our room suited us perfectly for a multi-night stay. There is also a motel on site as well as several cabins. This hotel is truly dog friendly and there are no dog fees. A pebble beach is right across the street and there is a sandy beach a few steps away. This was a great off-season getaway. We loved the area.

Reviewed By ahtram56They tried but seriously not a good experience. The room was tiny and crowded. Noisy like no other. We heard every word, move, unpleasant sounds like luggage on the wood deck, beds moving, people urinating , toilets flushing , showers constantly running etc. The location is ideal but the accommodations grim. Felt like we were camping. Not our thing.

Reviewed By Kelly MWe stayed in a two room suite on the third floor. The staff at the desk was super friendly, nice, and helpful. The motel is definitely dated. The carpeting was dirty. The room had a musty smell. The coffee pot had old coffee and floating mold in it. I felt a little unsafe on our balcony but holy cow the view of the ocean (barring the power lines) is great. And you are literally a few steps across the road from the ocean. So if you can get past the iffy accomodations, the location is everything.

Owner Puts Moth Balls Under Beds
Reviewed By mikefL1114FOThe owner is very obsessive compulsive. He goes through a very long and exhausting check in process. He takes a picture of your plate and if you have a guest he will harass them for parking anywhere. We saw a box of moth balls on his cleaning cart. We realized that there were moth balls placed under the bed in all the rooms after speaking to the other guests. I would advise you stay almost anywhere else on York beach. There is a reason why he has vacancies at the lowest price.

Reviewed By I5264RRwalterbHotel is very clean and friendly . Fantastic views. Plan on driving to get food as it’s not that close to any restaurant. Access to the sand beach is easy and beds are comfortable. Windows on third floor do not open which is a bit sad as if they would you’d hear the crashing waves; oh well.

Reviewed By verve1995The star of this place is GM Dan. From my first phone call to meeting him. He's an asset to the place. So personable. If you stay here, you get a great location. Walk out of the building, you are in the shops and so close to the beach. Of course, this can be a negative, as I did have a hard time sleeping as the beach groomers started super early. You are also above restaurants and a singer if he's performing, which are noisy. We had a Queen suite. It was super nice. Only complaint was the bed. My back hurt from it. I feel that needs to be upgraded.
