Wonderful stay at this property
Reviewed By LRBtravelsMet some relatives here for the long Labor Day weekend. We rented each of us a sweet suite at very low costs with points and had a great time of games, visiting, good food, helpful desk staff. The service staff you met in the hallways were always cheerful and greeted you, helpful if you had a question. One thing disappointed, on Saturday morning there was no breakfast area staff at the time we came, so tables were dirty, etc.....may have been a hectic day. When we alerted front desk staff, it was remedied. Sunday morning, there was staff there taking care of things. This hotel we read had undergone renovation during Covid closure and to us it was neat, clean, very enjoyable place to stay. Would gladly stay here again.

Reviewed By toddbrueggemanThe room was about 95° and very humid when I open the door. The room smelled really bad. The trashcan had not been emptied, there was a dress hanging on a hanger, candy wrappers between the nightstand in the bed, and I woke up with long hair stuck to my face.

Reviewed By aimeef596We checked in on May 21st for one night and were greeted with extreme friendliness and helpful information and had the same experience while checking out the next morning. It was refreshing as this type of service is becoming increasingly rare. It is nice that the property is newer. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were clean. The included breakfast has a large enough assortment that even the picky should find something. I appreciated that the fruit infused water & coffee bar were always available. We took a morning dip in the hot tub, which was nice. The pool area was clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice place - odd stay

In fact it’s our first choice when staying in the area and we will return*** BUT… A few hospitality issues made this stay feel just… odd… (yep, I know, I know, 100% first world problems, but still…) 1) It was about 11pm when we arrived and as we pulled into the parking lot the entry area lights were dim. It felt like the hotel might be closed. It wasn’t until we were under the overhang that I could tell it was open and it wasn’t until I walked through the doors that I could tell I’d be able to get inside. I travel a lot and I’ve never been to a hotel that didn’t have bright lights welcoming you. 2) The front desk person was attentive and quick to check us in. I asked if there were any festivals or other things going on in the area … “I’m not the person to ask”… ok, sure, I get it, it’s late on a Saturday night but you’re not the person to ask??? Ya kinda are. The person offered to google information but I said I’d look when I got to my room. Again - not a deal breaker but so outside the norm I didn’t really know how to react. 3) Once we arrived in our lovely clean room I went to wash my hands… No soap!?!?!?! Wait… WHAT?!?!? Back up front I go. I informed them that we didn’t have any toiletries in the shower and no soap. The person said that the hotel was actually out of soap. Instead they offered extra shampoo. I guess soaps been on back order for 3 weeks … (insert computer voice saying “does not compute”). Why not mention this when I’m checking in? How does this even happen? I am still perplexed about the lack of soap. No soap = rambling review in trip advisor. ***Again - a nice hotel***

Reviewed By Goodtipper1967Our room was very clean, the staff were so friendly! Breakfast was more than we expected for a free hotel breakfast! At the restaurant the wings were really good, the pizza was thick crust, so not what we like. Jessica our bartender was a delight, and gave us tips on where to go hiking.
