Sitting at the northernmost corner of Virginia in the Shenandoah Valley, Winchester offers visitors the chance to explore historical sites, museums, vineyards, farmers' markets, and tree-lined Old Town streets once wandered by the likes of George Washington and Stonewall Jackson. The fruitful fields of the surrounding Frederick County have earned the area the title "apple capital of the world," with the city hosting the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival annually for almost a century.

My room was located on the first floor directly by the office. I found it very convenient to access every amenity the hotel offered. I must brag on the breakfast prepared by the cook. It was real eggs, crispy bacon, rosemary potatoes. On another occasion, she made homemade biscuits and sausage gravy. It was probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had and she paid attention to presentation and cleanliness. I was very impressed.

This hotel has been upgraded recently. The rooms are stunning . Sadly the walls are paper thin. The fellow next to us kept clearing his throat most of the night and the room across from us had guests at 12:05 am that came in. They weren't load just a normal greeting of someone they hadn't seen in a while . you could also hear the big trucks on the highway. Maybe ask for a room on the back side of the hotel and have vacant rooms on each side of you ? Again the hotel and rooms really are beautiful . The folks that work here couldn't be nicer. As for breakfast there is waffles, boiled eggs, cold options and when we were there gravy biscuits and bacon.

Large room, comfortable bed and enjoyable shower all combined to insure a peaceful night. Breakfast was standard hotel fare, nothing special, however, filling for the next road trip. The positive not on breakfast was the hostess, hard working and very friendly.

on check-in, service was very good and friendly. We liked there was a restaurant next door, a steakhouse, but it had closed some time ago. Had to walk over to mall where we ate a small Italian place. At least it was walkable. Morning breakfast was a bit weak. Boiled eggs, cereal, toast, coffee

Great rates and super helpful desk employees. We stopped as a. Waypoint on a drive from Atlanta to Woodward PA. Nicely remodeled with outdoor pool and great hotel breakfast. This is the first time I have seen folded bath towels since before 2019! Everyone here is trying to get it right.
