Good value for the price

Large room with plenty of bench space., and great to have a flat area where your case can be opened - more expensive locations please note! Good size bathroom. Heating/cooling provided by air conditioner with extra wall heater and electric blankets on bed. Firm but comfortable large bed. Shower had adequate pressure and plenty of hot water. Rooms are far enough off main road to be quiet at night. Could do with some more power points at bench height, but there is one that can be used to recharge devices. For dinner, best option may be local takeaway. For breakfast, room has toaster so can make own continental breakfast, or visit local bakery, which opens at 7am for great breakfasts. Would definitely consider staying here again when passing through Walpole.

This place is a dive

Basically walked in for lunch and walked straight back out. They haven't spent a cent on this place or even washed the windows in 18 months since I last visited. Its a real shame because its the only pub in the area and in a great location. Just the same old locals sitting at the bar and the place completely dead. Pretty disappointing with the location, it should be way better.

I feel reluctant to tell others about how wonderful coal mine beach caravan park is. I want it to be our secret! Wonderful glamping (the bed much more comfy than home!) tasteful and thoughtful eco friendly environs. Birds and kangaroos in peaceful and beautiful West Australian wilderness right next to the inlet. Can’t fault it. Great management. We will be back with friends.

Spend another 4 days at Che Che Sara in May. Love coming back to the peace of this place. We rested, canoed using the free gear and just enjoyed the quiet. Great new additions since our last stay are the bbq and reverse cycle air-con, which will be lovely for those who visit them m the summer. We even bought some lovely eggs laid by the local chooks :) Cabins still cost and well equipped. Only thing we missed this time were the resident wandering cows but the caretakers mentioned that new ones will be coming soon. We will no doubt be back :)

Absolutely loved it

I cannot recommend Tinglewood cabins enough if you’re looking for a quiet place and beautiful place to stay in Walpole. Chris and Sharon were both lovely and welcoming and the cabin was comfortable and cosy with a wood fire. In the afternoons there was a plethora of wildlife to keep you company and there is even a decent walk around the property.
