Great stay!

Excellent experience. This is a beautifully restored building (c. 1906). Rooms are very well appointed with comfortable beds and sheets, a refrigerator and microwave and coffee maker. Rooms are quiet and well sized. Best place to stay in Tonopah. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Love this place

Reviewed By MikeandSarahBrown

Great hotel in the middle of the desert, not much around here but the food and wine in the hotel and the casino next door were perfect to keep us fed and watered and entertained. Love the old style and the haunted theme, and the staff were so friendly and worked incredibly hard (especially the girl behind the bar) Hope to re-visit one day

This Best Western Motel in Tonopah was a surprise and true delight for us traveling Hwy 95 through Nevada. It is THE BEST Best Western we have encountered yet! The facilities were immaculately clean, rooms were modernized and roomy, the staff very friendly, a better-than-usual motel breakfast was offered, and fresh baked, delicious cookies were provided in the afternoon and evening. (The lady who provided the breakfast on our stay was lovely and very helpful.) Plus, all the room entrances are in the interior. Dirty and not very welcoming

Reviewed By mntaylor86

Road tripping across California and Navada we have come across lots of cheap motels. This so far has been the worst. Looking at the other reviews maybe we were in an older part of the hotel, room 231 but the rooms/bathroom and communal areas were so dirty . The seal around the bath was coming away the there were bits missing from the furniture. It's obviously where lots of workmen stay but no excuse for lack of cleaning. The only good thing was the air conditioning worked and the hotel has loads of cool stuff to look at so I'd say drop in see the collections but don't stay! I've also got lots of bites which I think is very likely from the bed . The lady in reception was also the least welcoming that we have come across. I would not return here again, i would pay a little extra and stay at any of the other options in town. Date of experience: June 2022

Not very comfortable

Reviewed By carinaney

We stayed one night at hotel Comfort Inn in Tonopah in May 2022. Unfortunately the room was not clean, but very dirty. At least we had clean towels. There was dirt everywhere in the room, e.g. hair, a sucked candy within the closet, an used part of a tissue, an used straw on the floor, indefinable spots on the bed, leftovers, blood stains on the sheet, etc. (pictures attached). The bed linen were made from 100% Polyester so you always were "statically charged"... 3 weeks ago I wrote an e-mail to the responsible Manager but never received an answer until now... Because I also want to write something positive: The coffee we had the next morning was good.

Part time desk, old worn rooms

Reviewed By Rick L

I first had to go looking for the front desk person. Found her raking around the bushes. It took three rooms to get a barely acceptable room. The first room had a broken tv, the second was smoked in - very smelly, the third was barely acceptable - lots of stains on carpet, peeling bath tub. The ice machine was broken so the clerk told me to come to the office if I would like some ice. I went to the office after dinner (about 5:45pm. There was a not on the door that they were out and would return around 8pm.

Great value and comfortable rooms

Reviewed By guyaU1584WY

Stayed 5 nights. Room was large and clean. Looked as it had been remodeled. Micro, refrig, big shower. No breakfast but that's fine with me. This is a older hotel which has been refreshed. Great value as the Best Western was twice the price. People find minor issues to complain about yet chose budget friendly hotels. This hotel will meet all your needs w a comfortable bed, large room, large screen TV, refrigerator, microwave. I would stay here again. Side Note ... Goldfield is a speed trap. Do not go over 25, do the speed limit in Goldfield and Tonopah. Goldfield writes tickets all day long. It's way over policed. You could be doing 30 and get a ticket. It's just wrong and differently a giant money making operation.
