The Hotel Confort is located in the heart of the Pyrenees Ariegeoises in the historic city centre of Tarascon-sur-Ariege. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi and free parking for 5 cars, bikes and motorbikes (local closed) The comfortable guest rooms have flat-screen TV Full HD 32'' and port USB with cable channels, direct-dial telephone and a private bathroom. Some of the rooms also have a view of the river and mountains. The Hotel Confort is on the river's edge and is in close proximity to shops and restaurants. A buffet breakfast is served in the morning and there is also a bar with a terrace.

Reviewed By Brian AWarm welcome ( My French is not too good but the manager spoke fluent Spanish so ...sorted ) The rooms are though dated ,well equipped , Wi-Fi was good and the view (from My room ) was lovely . Sadly there is no restaurant on site , and Les Bellevue where I was directed to ( for the 1/2 pension ) was just OK . Breakfast is on site and good. If staying make sure you visit the old town ( 3 mins walk ) . Views from the Tower are superb. The disabled room ( ground floor ) was nice even though the window is onto the patio , though not a problem when we were there but, Summer ? Parking was next to the patio.

Reviewed By Shari NThis family run B&B makes a point of being welcoming and genuinely interested in your trip plans to help out. Ignore your GPS and simplly exit right at the end of the N20 opposite direction Tarascon. The Domaine's driveway is just a 100 m from that on the left. Once you arrive, everything you need is cheerfully attended to. The redecorated rooms are spotless and quiet, birdsong abounds, breakfasts are thoughtfully prepared, with housemade brioche and yoghurt, very special croissants and bread...Frederic and Isabelle carry the torch of an ancient historical home with pride. This is a great base for many touristic destinations and a spa is in its future plans to compliment its indoor pool for rainy days. Oh and dinner was over the top fantastic! Duck and asparagus salad, beef bourguignon potato strata with veg, cheese board, pie, aperitif, wine, and tea. Unbeatable value. Can't waiit to return.

Reviewed By KiwiKerry53What a great place to stay. The couple who run it are lovely - I felt like I was being welcomed into their home - a real cultural experience. There is parking available on the street right outside the property or a short walk away in a small car park. They were happy to charge our rooms individually the following morning, despite our booking being non refundable. The rooms are lovely and very spacious and beautifully furnished. We followed our hosts advice on where to dine for dinner - it was perfect. Breakfast was wonderful - a fabulous array of home made yogurt, breads, cakes, preserves and all home made.

Reviewed By IanLauraenjoyed our 1 night stay so much last year that we returned this year for 2 nights. Bit of a hike up to our room or it would have been five stars but the room and bathroom were spotless and very comfortable. We could even see our car from our window which was parked right outside the hotel for free. Will visit again.

Reviewed By oinuxOn our way to Andorra our car broke down and without reservation and arriving late at night, the hotel gave us a room to stay. They were very friendly and helpful, and due to our unlucky situation we had to stay longer till insurance found a solution. They didn’t charge us for the late check out. Food was good, traditional plates from Pyrenees. Rooms and bathroom were clean, with a window facing the river and the mountains.
