Hot spring pools....They have about 6-7 Pools they are just Time pass. Not real value for Money. You can Just manage One night only.

Reviewed By Olaf BStaying over Christmas we basically had the hot spring facilities for ourselves. Those are indeed wonderful. One can sit in a large egg boiler overlooking the nature of valley and mountains or in other hot tubs of different temperatures, surrounded by curious butterflys. Very nice. However, one has to climb some 50 steps of wooden stairs first. (They would drive you up there but why). As a general observation, the country is not a destination for people who love food but there are decent enough restaurants available.

Reviewed By steveyu_1962Very special location, just situated on a island within a beautiful valley. Guests have to walk across a hanging bridge to reach the hotel. Nice scenery around. One hour drive from Taichung/Hsinchu. The facility is old, need to be renovated better. The quality of the hit spring water is good.

On check in, I immediately braced myself that this place was not as the photos had conveyed. Check in was a mess, customers just kept cutting in line and butting for attention to the overwhelmed staff, but no effort was made to establish any order - total chaos. The hotel photos only show the main building, but there's actually a second building in the back that is on the other side of the road; making it rather dangerous for anyone traveling with kids - we stayed in that back building (building 3). The rooms in building 3 have no windows - zero natural lighting - the hotel was full and so we could not change rooms even with

Reviewed By pohsinlu竹美山閣位於苗栗泰安溫泉區較外圍的半山腰，整體環境十分的幽靜，帶著兩個小朋友（小學生）入住雙人套房，一張大雙人床躺三個人也不會覺得過於擁擠，房間內就有一個蠻大的泡湯池，直接在房間裡泡湯十分方便，早餐部分是中西式的自助早餐，菜色還算多樣，口味也不錯，雖然設施不算是很豪華但算是CP值不錯的飯店。 Cedarwood Villa is located at a quiet area in Taian, Miaoli. The room is very comfortable and hot spring tub is inside the room. It's very convenient. Although, it isn't the most luxury hotel in that area but its Cost-Value is quite high.

Nice hotel and hot spring
Reviewed By William TThe facility in the room are nice and function properly. The king bed is nice and comfort. The outdoor hot spring pool and spa are amazing and not crowded since I stayed in June. Not sure would be any difference during winter. One thing worth mentioned is that the hotel is build along the hill. It might not be suitable for elder. Even the hotel provides shuttle between two main building, there are still plenty of stairs need to climb.

翠谷環繞的香格里拉
Reviewed By 其華 蔣房間 : 我們住的是位於民宿最上方的樓中樓套房， 下層是兩張很軟的雙人床，上層是通舖，有十個舖位。 電視很清楚，沒遙控器。 廁所很小間，但是很乾淨，熱水也很足夠，有牙刷和紙毛巾。 往上層的樓梯有點窄，走動的時候都會震動。 床鋪乾淨，也有用白色床單將床墊罩好。 暖氣樓上樓下個一台分離式，樓上多一台小台移動式。 有溫熱開飲機一台，吹風機一台。 早餐 : 稀飯和烤土司，簡單的家常早餐。 溫泉 : 要開一段山路到騰龍溫泉山莊，泡大眾裸湯不用加錢。 大眾男湯，有浴巾，洗髮乳，沐浴乳等， 冷溫熱湯池各一，溫泉品質不錯，池子裡面也很乾淨。 但是鞋子區和換衣服的區域沒有分乾淨，導致地板很髒。 心得 : 能以一個人666元的價格在大年初四住到這間民宿算是 還平價實惠的選擇，可能他們房間出租率真的不高。並且 還附溫泉(雖然要開很遠的摸黑的山路)。 板上之前相關文章說的問題，我們是沒有遇到，像是 熱水一值都有，可能因為我們有七個人在溫泉就洗好澡， 所以另外兩個人都有熱呼呼的水可以洗澡。建議以後沒熱水 洗澡應該馬上跟老闆反應，因為這蠻嚴重的問題。 蚊蟲方面，山區的民宿，有蚊蟲難免，我們也都比較不 介意，但房間門口要加紗窗倒是真的。 結構不穩方面，是有點不穩，但是我們主要在樓下玩耍 上樓之後就躺平，所以也能接受。 遙控器的問題，我們主要在聊天，所以電視是背景音樂... 床鋪，都算乾淨，有一兩根小頭髮還能接受，蟲子的話 在山上，就算整理完，應該也很容易有蟲蟲入侵。有厚棉被 也有毯子，加上暖氣，睡的很舒服，同伴大部分人都一覺到 天亮，沒一覺到天亮的人本來就是會認床的 XD 很多民宿本來就沒有附上大浴巾，這點之前有先詢問過， 所以我們都有自己帶毛巾。烤肉方面，行程有點趕，加上天 氣冷就沒有訂烤肉，也比較沒有之前講的問題。 民宿，沒啥特色，有一些特別的物品，但是沒有規劃讓 遊客欣賞，有些生態但是也是沒有規劃。老闆娘有些過頭， 一直推銷附加行程，不過我個人是覺得她應該只是太熱心， 希望遊客可以玩的盡興些，但是她很容易自顧自一直講。 整體來說，是間可以接受，但是沒有特別印象的民宿。 如果有預算的考量的話，倒是可以一住。民宿間競爭激烈， 多問幾間說不定會有更好選擇和價錢。

Reviewed By nancy921從竹東五峰上山,經過清泉,不塞車的話大約1.5hr抵達~ 是登山者休憩的旅店! 除了住宿,附近也可以露營,房間數不多,不太好定~~ 從山莊遠眺雪山聖稜線,天氣情朗時,非常清楚, 園區還有霧社櫻王及櫻后,環境優美~ 大鹿林道西線從山莊往裡走,走各2km的林道,非常舒服~~
