Reviewed By malcolml79It’s well situated in the heart of Sorsogon and close to all amenities. Very friendly staff who couldn’t be more helpful. We stayed for five days and enjoyed the area, the people and the hospitality of the Fernando’s Hotel team. If you are looking for a springboard to visit the many sites in and around Sorsogon City this is the best place to come.

Late Review but resort is well recommended
Reviewed By gealdinaiSorry this is a very late review. I took my kids and grandkids to this resort 2015 and promised the owner I’ll give a review but due to busy family life, I was not able to do it. But better late than never. We went to this resort cuz of good recommendations from other people. So here’s my late reviews: I was looking for a resort then thats not your typical all inclusive resorts. I wanted a resort that’s close to whale watching tours, has transportation pick up from airport, with a beach and one that will give my kids and grandkids an experience of provincial life. The owner was very hospitable and gave personal attention to their guests. It’s not crowded with tourists so you get their personal attention. Our cottage was clean with hot water, restaurant served typical local Filipino and Bicol dishes. The highlight was when I requested fresh coconut juice directly sipped from the just picked coconuts and they did! Since it was not crowded, I’ve requested some dishes that’s not on the menu and the owner gladly cooked it for us. I also asked if there was a nearby farm that me grandkids could go for carabao ride. The following day, the owner brought 2 carabaos for the kids and grandkids to ride along the beach. They had a blast! The beach has black sand cuz of Mayon volcano even though it’s not that close. There’s no swimming pool but the beach is at your doorstep. It’s walking distance to the whale watching tour office. We were lucky to see the butanding whale in the ocean and swam with them! This whale is friendly but we were told by the divers to just swim with them and not touch them. I was a bit scared but they’re like gentle giants of the ocean. They also transported us to see Mayon volcano and the kids rode the ATVs near Mayon. Some of us did zip lining there. We also did firefly tours at night! Awesome! Cost of accommodations of 2 cottages we rented was very very reasonable. Hopefully, they’ve maintained this resort to the same standard as what we’ve experienced!

Villa Isabel Hotel and Resort: My First Hotel Experience in Sorsogon City
Reviewed By JoepepCielosThis is the first time that I stayed in Sorsogon City even though I am from Bicol. Our office conducted an activity in Villa Isabel Hotel and Resort. For my room, I was provided with a matrimonial bedroom. The room was quite small but clean. The toilet is even smaller. The lighting was a little dark but the air-conditioning was cold. The cable reception was not good though. The facility has a huge swimming pool at one area. A nice place to stay in Sorsogon City.

Rancho Lodge is a new lodge located at the heart of Sorsogon City. Fronting the lodge is the SM Savemore supermarket, Banco De Oro, China Bank, public market known as Saudan, stone-throw away from Sorsogon Police Headquarters, Sorsogon National High School, and Sorsogon Polyclinic. It is located along the National Highway and accessible to all types of public transportation.

Just good enough to stay
Reviewed By zenyTaguigA budgeted hotel with a spacious room for a comfy stay. Clean but needs to revisit comfort room and do some fixings. Staff are nice and very accommodating. Great location for stop overs especially for long drive road trips.
