Reviewed By ianmK5086UYThe office staff are all very friendly, happy and knowledgeable, the amenities are clean, modern and well maintained, Same as all the grounds which are all mowed, trimmed to keep them looking good. There is a fantastic camp kitchen that even has a pizza oven, then there are ample table and chairs and even an open fire place that the staff light every night, and all this is under cover. We had a Powered site which had plenty of room for our 24ft caravan. Will definitely be staying here again.

We were welcomed and served at the bar by Lauren, who provided us with lots of info on the area, what to do, and where to go. After a couple of drinks, we ordered lunch and moved to the dining room. Lunch was awesome, and large! I had loaded fries, and hubby had a Southern Fried Bird Burger. Despite the bar area being busy and full when we were leaving, Lauren asked us if we enjoyed lunch, wished us a good afternoon and safe travels. I would certainly recommend this pub,

Reviewed By 958fran2015Just spent relaxing week at lake Somerset. The park grounds were grassy with all sites having water views. We booked an unpowered site and were able to choose our site on arrival. There are several amenity blocks scattered throughout the park and a well equipped camp kitchen. All very clean. The boat ramp catered for 3 boats at a time and we caught lots of yummy redclaw. The fish weren't biting. Children loved the playground, the putt putt, swimming, playing on the big oval and riding their bikes and scooters around the park. I loved the instant boiling water available at the camp kitchen for a quick cuppa and to wash up dishes. Will definitely return.

Reviewed By Shawn LWe stopped here for lunch (again) on the way to Gatton. The Lunch specials are great value and a good standard of pub food with a fresh salad and the best chips ever and only $15. Big pot of tea was welcome all in a pleasant dining room. I am sure the beer is also good on a hot day.

PERFECT HOSTS
Reviewed By Bronnie40A group of 30 from our Probus Club had lunch at the Fernvale Hotel. I had been organising this for some time and I could not have expected better service. From the first phone call to Abbey, then to Lisa and many emails from Ted, all my questions were answered swifty. Ted even emailed me the menus for perusal prior to our arrival. Rob was very efficient and good fun on the Bar. Then Amanda and Karen produced the yummy food. I did not receive one complaint, except maybe that some portions were too generous. Prices were SO reasonable, particularly with a list of $10 lunch specials. The staff made sure we were looked after - a very caring establishment. So, well done Fernvale Hotel - the perfect hosts.
