Reviewed By OneAdvisedTravellerWe were there for one night end of May. The rooms are truly beautiful (as much as they appear on the website). Unfortunately, the kitchen doesn’t match it. If the dinner was nice (far from exceptional anyway), the breakfast was really disappointing, with just basic products; we had the impression we could have the same one in any 1 or 2 stars hotel. Also, we had a fantastic view, but some rooms don’t have any view at all (despite the reservation site saying all rooms have mountain view). On another point, the rooms with a view are right above the terrace which can probably become quite noisy depending on the affluence. Despite these points, we loved this place (and that’s why we still give it a 4).

Nice new hotel in good location

We didn´t like pillows with synthetic filling and polyester sheets not great but otherwise comfortable mattresses. Nice wellness area. Nice modern hotel, location close to ski lifts, free parking. Shame that the lady at reception when we arrived seemed not interested in providing any information at all other than location of lift and room number. No mention of the wellness area, ski room, play areas, rules for covid and mask wearing etc. she also seemed to have no idea that there is a playroom and kids club (although we later found out that kids club is non existent and is in fact only a meeting room kitted out with some books and a few toys.) Online they advertised kids entertainment in the holiday period (basteln and kinderdisco etc.) this was non-existent and no info was visible in the hotel either about it. We were halb pension - menus are displayed daily in the lift suggesting perhaps a more exciting dining experience than what you actually get. Breakfast buffet was ok, but the warm food at dinner was so unappetizing that one evening I just had salad. Basically the Halb Pension means warm buffet + soup/salad - do not expect to anything appetizing that has been sitting under a warm lamp. Kids even complained that their food was cold. Real shame. We even saw people bringing in take away pizza to the restaurant, I assume because they didnt want to eat what was on offer!!! The staff mainly were nice and tried to be helpful but seemed a bit confused at times. The reception and check in really is the first impression of a hotel, the lady we got was terrible - the man checking us out however was lovely. Some improvements definitely needed but all in all it was an ok experience. Not sure I would go back and if I did I would not do halb pension.

Reviewed By Haroon MFantastic location in Park Ela. The staff is extremely polite and generous. The view from the room window is incredible. The breakfast was super rich and generous, although one could say for more stuff but for me, it was perfect. Last but not the least, the Savognin generosity is appreciable since the hotel provided us with Park Ela cards which provided a free ride on the cable car. Highly recommended. Only on the downside, not much of eating places in the city but it is not that of a problem.

Old Fashioned Hospitality
Reviewed By Hooray HIt was by pure chance that we met Mr seep Waldegg. We were on the way to St M but wanted to watch the England/Sweden Match. I asked the nice man if he knew any places & he asked us to wait. He set up a nice private room for the three of us, beers & lovely fresh sandwiches. Excellent. After the match he showed some of the lovely rooms- I will definitely come & stay- (when the currency becomes a little more affordable). Such a nice man.

Reviewed By Hendrik KWe had a nice dinner.. Not gourmet but good and tasty dishes are being offered as well as local specialties (capuns) and of course pizza. The restaurant is well visited, it is adviced to make reservations.

Swiss Efficiency
Reviewed By ermi23on a bicycle tour through the Swiss alps called the day prior and booked without problems (no cards needed) at arrival keys are ready at an empty desk but I can easily access to the room, place the bike in the ski room and use the free WiFi room is small but tidy, adeguate for my needs good breakfast served by efficient personnel price correct (for Switzerland)

Angenehmes Hotel!
Reviewed By MonikaZ2324Wir haben zwei Nächte im Arlos verbracht und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Schönes, wenn auch nicht so grosses, blitzsauberes und ruhiges Zimmer. Das Badezimmer war top. Das Frühstück wurde serviert und man hat alle Wünsche erfüllt. In der Zwischensaison ist es sehr ruhig im Hotel.
