A travellers night
Reviewed By TapaniR27Wonderful location by the sea. A modern well equipped studio,with everything needed. Safe parkinglot beneath the building. No possibility to charge the car. The hotel is of course not responsible, but a big difficultie was the total lack of dining places in Saulkrasti.

Reviewed By Lints1234I don't recomend this restaurant. The chef is awful and the food for the price is really bad. Though I have to say the waitress were really helpful and the beer was great.Avoid this place at any cost and choose other place if possible.

Guest house as it should be

Very considerate owner, relaxing and laid-back atmosphere, very clean, perfect location for everything: walking distance to the sea, a supermarket that is close by and a bus station - very convenient. Good wifi signal. There are signs in the road so it's very difficult to get lost.

Reviewed By Margus jVery friendly host. Rooms are clean and nice. Grilling area with all tools needed was there. Sauna and hottub was super. Negative was that room were little bit damp. Price level is very cheap. Livingroom with 3 king size beds, kitchen, bathroom, toilet and small front room - 40-50€ per night

Reviewed By 492liakWe stayed there in the summer of 2019, we are a simple couple and used to anything, still never go there and don't very recommend. To be honest it is very old and tired property, needs a complete refresh. The bungalow was kind of bad, the breakfast was poor and late. The location was super, the beach beautiful, that was the only plus. The family was kind. Saulkrasti is a nice resort, we are going to stay next summer but choose a better place.

Was not a good choice
Reviewed By YoFoxWe stayed 2 nights in this hotel which was not that good. If you have no car, you can forget this place as everything is far away from it. Only the beach is really close but not the most beautiful one compare to the ones in the south. The environment around is nice with full of trees. The room was clean but the noise isolation was not good at all (from the corridor and others rooms). There were some good notes about the breakfast, but it didn’t worth it: Cold, not that much choice... Nothing special People were not that much understanding especially when we made a remark about the noise... So I would recommend this hotel only if you know it, like this no bad surprise.

Reviewed By Vir0zaОстанавливались по дороге в Ригу. При бронировании гостиницы указано, что самый поздний заезд в 23.00, но мы задержались в дороге и не успевали, хозяин нас дождался и заселил. Персонал говорит по русски, очень приветливые. До моря пешком далековато, но на машине пару минут. В отеле очень уютно, есть кухня и столовая, можно готовить самим. Место очень тихое и красивое, поэтому идеально подойдёт для тех, кто хочет отдохнуть от суеты и шума. Развлечений нет, для этого придётся ехать подальше. Во дворе отеля есть детская площадка и место для гриля, а также продовольственный магазинчик в котором можно найти необходимый минимум.

Our family vacation
Reviewed By Wander824588I used this hotel when I was on vacation with my parents and siblings and their kids who are all 5 or younger. The owner of this place does not speak any English so if you do not speak Russian it is a bit of a problem. The owner's house is also RIGHT next to the houses. This would be okay, but this owner likes to stand in front of the gate to check on every single thing you do and is not afraid of yelling at you if he is drunk (which he was). He also went into the house where kids were playing to yell at them for being too loud at 7pm and he was not wearing a shirt and the parents were not there. The kids were very very scared. There is a trailer park right next to this so also quite loud at night. The rooms are clean and otherwise would be great for family if the owner is not there. The water kind of smells due to the plumbing and shower is very low pressure. The first day was awful, but on the second day the owner was not there so it was OK. Would not recommend.

Reviewed By peterbY7610RNWir hatten 2 Spieße mit Pommes bestellt. Nach einer Stunde war immer noch kein Essen da. Ich beschwerte mich.... es würde noch 30 Minute dauern, wegen der Kartoffeln. Sorry das kann ich nicht verstehen, dann sollte man früher zu den Gästen kommen und eventuell eine andere Beilage anbieten. Habe mein Geld zurück bekommen. Sehr schade ?Der Service war ansonsten sehr freundlich und das Bier hat auch geschmeckt.

Reviewed By Sigulda2014Very loud and dirty camping.Beware that guest houses are located very close to each other, and you will be kept awake buy loud and drunk neighbours till 4 am in the morning.There is no soap, or toilet paper in the toilet at the end if the days, only cold water in the shower and the most important, there is absolutely no social distancing or hand sanitizers to be found anywhere. The wifi was only in the vichinity of the reception, but not in the guest room. The refrigerator was dirty as well, and overall there is very low higiene standart kept. Also the reception and the owner seems not to care at all, and there was nobody at the reception between 11 pm and 10 am in the morning.We had two children with us, and left totally tired because of the lack of sleep and dissatisfied.
