On this visit it was good to see that the rooms have been redecorated and upgraded with a new bathroom, decent shower, new window and a comfortable bed. The heating appeared to be on 24 hours a day and it was very warm. Each day a fresh bottle of Evian was left in the room. Breakfast was good quality, with fresh fruit, cereal, orange juice nice yoghurt, fresh croissants and more . Dinner really excellent, I had the demi pension which makes it much easier to choose because not only could I have eaten everything on the menu but what I did have was some of the best food I have had anywhere. Unlike other comments I had no problem regarding the attitude of the staff, perhaps it's their reaction to arrogant English visitors! Lovely surroundings, totally peaceful and a genuine quality experience!

Reviewed By colin_mouldA warm welcome from the proprietess. Limited parking at rear but plenty on the road. Nice gardens to relax in. Our room was good even down to the 4-poster bed, but the plinth it was on gave some excitement to any night walks. Nice bathroom with plenty of hot water and towels. GR 21 is nearby as is the coast with the Grande and Petites Dalles beaches. It is just off the D925 in a lovely part of France. The real star is the food in a beamed dining room. It was superb. A range of set price menus with a local cheese, Neufchatel, prominent and my wife loved the asparagus and my duck was very good indeed. Nice wine list. Good service. A real treat. Nice touches were 2 types of butter, 3 of sugar and water in cold pewter jugs. Breakfast was as good and could be taken in the garden if required. Our regret was not to stay longer and explore the lovely area but this would be a perfect place to do so and enjoy the superb food at the end of the day.

Reviewed By lhcoladaWe stayed at a mobile home here on June 17 for one night during a road trip through Normandy. The mobile home was clean and well equipped. There was even an electric grill provided. We arrived after-hours, so they left the key for us to check in ourselves. It was very quick and efficient. We also accidentally left some belongings behind in the mobile home, and they mailed them back to us afterward. Very trustworthy people! Highly recommended.
