Another excellent stay

A fantastic place to stay. Very, very clean and comfortable. Dog friendly. Excellent staff. We've stayed twice on separate occasions and will definitely come back again. We've stayed here for overnights on the way down Spain so can give no opinion about the location for the purposes of visiting Salamanca.

Good spot for visiting Salamanca

We stayed in our campervan in the hotel grounds. Pitches were fine, decent size and quite level. Electricity hook up and wi fi were an issue the night we stayed. Some people had to move to be able to hook up. Wi fi was very poor. Bus service to Salamanca on site, about every half hour. Facilities were clean although many loos were out of commission , ther were still enough as it was low season. Restaurant in the hotel on site left a little to be desired. I ordered a mixed plate when it came everything was deep fried in batter, tiny prawns, chicken nugget type things, octopus and potato croquettes. You couldn’t order veg……. Staff were helpful although when we arrived I was told I was a day early for my booking, I wasn’t and we got is sorted out but not sure it’s a 4 star establishment .

Do NOT deserve four stars

Reviewed By MrsOls

Beware, this hotel is far away from Salamanca city centre! This hotel claims to be a four star hotel, and sure, the lobby gives that impression, it's huge and lush - BUT it's only on the surface, if you look closer you see that it's falling apart. I believe that the hotel once derved its four stars, but not any more. When we arrived the hotel was pretty much empty and deserted. The pool was not functioning (under repair) which was a HUGE disappointment as it was 36*C and we have a child. The homepage did not state anything about this repair, only showing the nice pictures of a pool - and it had been closed for a long time, we could easily tell by looking at the building site. The patio, which could be really nice and cosy, didn't have any shadow and the kids' playground seriously needed some new paint. We stayed on some sort of discount campain, so for us it was still worth the money, but of course we were disappointed by the false advertisement. I would never have paid a "four star price" for a stay there. The hotel needs to address their problems "underneath the surface" or they will either go bankrupt (no guests) or lose a star. + Very spatious room AC with remote control Big beds with three different pillows each Minibar Very big and lovely bathroom with two sinks Beautiful (but some would call it tacky) dining room - Bed frames felt like they were almost falling apart Only one electrical socket in the entire room Wall lamps hanging lose Bad quality on soaps, they crumbled and were nearly impossible to use Only one trash can in the whole room (incl bathroom) Trash can pedal broken Showerhead was very old and plastic Pool was not working - no info about this on the homepage Location Very late dinner, only serves from 20:30/8:30 PM, and yes I know that they eat late in Spain, but if you're a hotel perhaps you should be more flexible and consider foreign families as well. Breakfast not very good, two sorts of bread, two sorts of juice from machine, one (!) type of cheese - ELEVEN (!!) pastries and SEVEN kinds of olive oil... The croissants were underbaked.

We stayed on a Sunday night en route from the Algarve back to the UK. The room was excellent, and the food even better. The 3 course dinner was €15,with a choice from 3 items in each course. We took advantage of the underground parking, worth the €12 charged, although you might get lucky and be able to park outside. We thoroughly recommend this hotel.
