Beautiful location
Reviewed By HeidixjeAmazing location, superb view on the mountain, overall decent hotel. Rather unhelpful staff if you don’t speak Catalan. We stayed 2 nights and I was kept awake by insistent perpetual barking of dogs. I understand this usually is part of country living but this sounded like a dog in distress. For hours and hours, both nights.

But when you are inside, the hotel opens its doors ... you meet VERY friendly staff, that speaks good English., everything is very clean, there is an elevator, breakfast is good, the view is magnificent.... The dinners where ok, notting fancy - but ok. I'm more into vegetables .. they are not ;) But all in all, I would like to come back again ...

Cal Manel is a sustainable youth hostel at the foot of Pedraforca in the Natural Park of the Cadi-Moixero. Opened in 2016, it offers single and shared rooms. Designed for mountaineers, ramblers and cyclists. That's why it has a bicycle and backpack storage facilities. It is a space of family life. In Can Manel pets are accepted.

Reviewed By Fernando HPerfect base to explore pedraforca area. Facilities are the best I've ever seen in a mountain refuge. The host, Toni, went the extra mile to meet our needs (and we are picky!) If you are in a small group ask about the private rooms, good deal. Next time we are in the area we are going back for sure!

Fantastic place!
Reviewed By elfrodoHad a fantastic weekend here recently! Rooms were nice and clean, comfortable and homey. Food was home-cooked, tasty and filling. It's well worth the drive out and I would definitely recommend and go back! This is NOT a hotel so don't expect 5* or concierges but the rustic charm is equal if not better than most hotels I've stayed in. The situation is brilliant, right at the foot of Pedraforca and away from everything. There is a pool, football/basketball courts, Kids playground, horses, dogs and even turtle doves on the grounds. Great hiking, close to the ski slopes of La Molina and Massella and the wonderful Carme will make your stay a real pleasure.

Campingsite located in a privileged spot in Natural Park Cadí-Moixeró and Pedraforca mountain .Quite and familiar camping with facilities such outdoor and indoor swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, restaurant etc. activities in summer season, open all year around. Bungalows rental.

Reviewed By Geoff BI can't think of anything negative to say. All positive! Really friendly staff. Wonderful location across from Pedraforca (what a pleasure to wake up all three mornings and admire it), clean facilities, nice pool. All good!
