Reviewed By SurreyMashaWe were not very impressed with this hotel. It is centrally located, has parking and is clean but the carpets are very warn and there were several things in our room that did not work. We did not have breakfast here but went to a tabac in the town.

A Great Choice
Reviewed By bonreposgitesHave now stayed at this hotel three times and would happily do so again. The rooms are clean, bright and airy and some are large with a big, comfy sofa. The beds and pillows are good and the black-out blinds are a nice touch. Breakfast was a Continental style buffet but offered a decent choice of fresh produce and a busy coffee machine. Staff were always welcoming, sincere and helpful. If you get there at the right time, then there's some tight parking available in the hotel courtyard, otherwise you can cruise around until a space becomes available on the road in front of the hotel. Recommended!

Reviewed By Kasper VThis review is long overdue, but I felt it needed to said. This past summer I arrived without any reservation at this hotel. It was Saturday August 12th, the busiest holiday weekend of August, Quinze Août. So when I asked if there was a room the lady at the reception said this would impossible to find. In Saint Brieuc or anywhere else. Still, she tried. And how... She went out of her way and didn't give up. Meanwhile she was really busy checking in arriving guests, but every free minute she had in between she was on the phone calling others hotels. About 2 hours later, when i didn't expect anything anymore, she proudly came out of her office to announce she found a place. I unfortunately do not remember her name, but this lady deserves huge credits for her service. Without a reservation at this Best Western Hotel there was no reason why she needed to help me. Yet she did. And that is something special that I truly appreciate. Thank you very much and Merry Christmas to all the staff of this hotel and in particular to the receptionist who was on duty the Saturday evening of August 12th.

Great forcity centre location
Reviewed By ys61380A basic hotel that is very good for a city location as it is situated right in amongst the shopping centre area. The description saying car parking is available is a little misleading as what it means is that across the road there is underground parking in the shopping mall. This can be paid for at the hotel but I am always a bit anxious about leaving my car in these places especially as the British number plate sets it apart. Must say however by concerns were needless. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful.

Really nice hostel
Reviewed By JordanovichyI spent four nights at this hostel with some friends on a tour of Brittany in April 2016. It is a very nice hostel, friendly staff, with cosy yet comfortable rooms, some of which you can just about see the Bay of Saint Brieuc. We stayed on a half board basis, breakfast was continental and done on a help-yourself basis with cereal, hot and cold drinks, toast, croissants etc. all available. The hostel features several communal areas, including a television room and sports centre. Highly recommended if travelling in Saint Brieuc on a budget.

Traditional Manor House with lovely hostess in the centre of St Brieuc
Reviewed By Tim AThis is the second time we have used Maison de Benedicte. The House is a traditional old French Manor House with beautiful antique furniture, with the rooms wonderfully decorated. They are well equipped as is the bathroom. Spotlessly clean. On arrival Madame Benedicte offered us a cup of tea and chatted with us. Very welcoming. We had to leave her place very early (6:30am) but she prepared a fantastic breakfast with home made plum jam and traditional Breton cake amongst other goodies. It really is a unique place to go. We will definitely go there again ourselves.
