Reviewed By GregRobertson56Very friendly and helpful employees. Room size was very large and comfortable. Balcony on 4th floor had a nice view. Good location only short walk to the beach. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant because the menu looked higher price than we wanted.

Reviewed By suzem112Wonderful staff, good breakfasts, and close to the beach. The room was clean and any concerns were quickly taken care of. Transport to St Augustine was located right out front on the beach bus whose employees were friendly and informative.

It is also convenient to the beach and short distance to St Augustine. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired and if you are anticipating a decent place to have a cocktail or snack. Go elsewhere

The female daytime front desk clerk was cheerful and helpful and always greeted us when we passed by. I would stay here again for location alone - beach access and walking distance to restaurants, ice cream and some shops.

Beach was right there and beautiful. Lots of restaurants close by and a short drive to the historical downtown. Loved it and hope to go back.

Reviewed By Amy BThe room was clean but had an “old” smell. I believe it was the leftover odor of years of cigarette smoking in the room even though now it was a non-smoking room. It had new flooring, but the rest needs to be updated. The pool was clean. The breakfast was a very small selection and only offered between 7:30-9:30am. My biggest issues were that for the first day and a half, I had no hot water. I complained twice and the second time, the front desk clerk said, “I sent an email to our maintenance guy and I guess he didn’t get to it” and, “Did you leave the water running for like a half hour?…Sometimes it takes a while.” Then when I went to check out, as I needed a hard copy of my receipt, there was a note on the door stating they were out running errands and to leave the keys in the room and they would email a receipt. They did not. I then called them to ask for one and it took me about five times to explain what I wanted and four times for him to get my email correct. The good news is I finally got it. The reason I picked the location is that you can walk to the beach from there. Takes about 20 minutes.

Not what was expected from a Hilton
Reviewed By Q7536LNterricThe Hotel was way overpriced for the value received. I stayed alone but the room has 2 beds. Both beds were hard and lumpy. What was most concerning was that the first floor room had a slider window and you could see where the window frame of the slider was broken where the lock was on the other pane. You would think that there would be some sort of safety bar in place to secure the window as are done with slider doors, even a wooden bar cut to fit the channel would have made it more secure. The breakfast and dinner were way overpriced. The basic breakfast offered bruised fruit, hot oatmeal, bread and pastries for $10 - all I wanted was a piece of toast with peanut butter. Tea, coffee and juices were the only free things. I stayed there because it was close to the wedding site I had come to attend but now I am leery of ever staying at another lower priced Hilton property. Every day I was there - Sunday through Tuesday, the cleaning started work on the first floor rooms around 8am and anyone that was still sleeping had a surprise wakeup call as the staff were yelling back and forth to each other through the halls for the next few hours. Also, don't park your car near your room without checking to make sure your room cards work, otherwise you will have to walk back to the front desk and have them fix the issue.

Reviewed By 787judicWe wanted a quiet adult vacation with the ocean and a pool. We definitely got it at Beachfront Bed & Breakfast. Our room, Surfside, was small but perfectly appointed and around the corner from the pool and a short, short walk to the beach path. Everyone working at this location was VERY nice and ready to serve. They were always asking how they could help! The beach was pristine and NOT crowded and the water was lovely. I truly enjoyed having the pool to myself on most days. We will be back ... !
