The rooms are clean and the property is quiet and very nicely cared for. Very good places to eat within 5 minutes and most are within 2 minutes away, I will stay here from now on when passing near Roswell.

Reviewed By Brian HRoom was fairly clean. That’s the only positive. Room air conditioner didn’t work so we requested a new room. Neither key card worked so we visited the front desk again. Replacement card worked about every tenth swipe. We commiserated with another couple down the hall struggling to get theirs to work. Shower/toilet area was dark and claustrophobic. Ice machine was broken. Pool is closed indefinitely. No coffee lids. Frost desk clerk was annoyed we kept interrupting her watching a movie on her phone.

There is plenty of parking. Its close to the airport and downtown. There is a alien welcoming us to the hotel at the entrance.

Fine for a one-night stay
Reviewed By Ann cThese no-frills rooms are clean and convenient to all you want to do in Roswell. We always look for a fridge and microwave and the exterior-door entrance is convenient. Laundry room is available on oremises. My one big complaint is that there are no bedside lamps - all of the lighting is in the ceiling, which means that if one partner wants to sleep and the other stay up reading, that's no possible. (I found a book light at Walgreens). I do appreciate that everything was clean and the bathroom is new. ps The Mexican restaurant next door is great!

Reviewed By Wandalew1For the price we expected better. Wasn’t horrible just wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here…for the price there are other hotels in the area that are better. Our biggest issue was housekeeping. As soon as we checked into our room, our toilet had feces in it and the toilet seat had some type of yellow matter on it. They came and cleaned. They offered a 25% discount off the room rate for one day. However, no discount can take away that visual. We called and asked to have our room cleaned and house keeping never came. My daughter had to wash her white pants and something foreign was in the their washing machine and ruined her pants. They will compensate and that’s nice, however this hotel in general seemed to be understaffed and not prepared. I’m giving this hotel 3 stars cause the manager and staff were nice and they tried their best.

However, the room had not been properly cleaned, with crumbs visible on the floor. The smoke detector was hanging by wires from the ceiling, with no way of knowing if it was operational. And, it was almost impossible to sleep because the air conditioning system was VERY loud. I cannot comment on the breakfast because the breakfast area is very small and was so crowded that we couldn’t get into the area. I’ve stayed at many Choice hotels and consider this one off our list for repeat stays.

Reviewed By LinkdonBad AC in room so it was super-hot, broke fridge, shampoo bottles in restroom broken, green jacuzzi water with no bubbles, GM never called us back after multiple complaints, get a GM that cares. Indoor pool heater was broke so freezing pool. Waste of money and bad hotel. We will never use holiday inn again, and we are in hotels super often. Customer service is just better at nearly any other 2-3 star hotel. Stinks that big corporations can get rid of bad reviews just by paying money.
