Lovely setting
Reviewed By Donna LA lovely setting and the view from our room was spectacular. Breakfast was very nice, with quite a bit of choice and delicious coffee. The restaurant specialises in risotto and it is very good. The terrace bar has a fantastic view and the Hugo spritz were very moreish. The private Lido on the lake is convenient and comfortable and the ferry dock is just steps away. Parking is included which is great

Superb location and splendid views on Lake Maggiore
Reviewed By CAAbcfcPanorama Hotel Elisabetta has some huge positives but it is not a hotel in the traditional sense of the word – it’s a Pensione with limited amenities e.g. no front desk or personal representation for arrivals on days when closed (Mondays and Tuesdays). There is no system generated air conditioning but an in-room plug-in fan. There are stairs (no elevator) up to the rooms - two of which have balconies barely one metre wide and there is a canopy extension over the dining area which does little to prevent noise rising from the diners below in the evenings. However, the views from the rooms and terrace are superb and maybe beyond comparison in the locality. The rooms are basically furnished and spotlessly clean, wi-fi is excellent and there is ample free parking in front of the property as well as a bus stop at the entry gate. Breakfasts are served outside on the terrace or inside if preferred and are of a standard format. The food served (continental breakfast style only) is at the discretion of the property i.e. there is no breakfast bar with any choice/s. The restaurant at the property appears to have a fine reputation and the menus look distinctive. Alternative restaurants are also situated nearby. The atmosphere at Elisabetta is friendly-businesslike, nothing more, nothing less. To sum up the stay, an overall enjoyable experience at a property with fantastic views and also a great location for many local trips e.g. Centovalli, Valle Maggia, Val Verzasca as well as the towns of Ascona, Brissago and Locarno.

Reviewed By PutneyTraveller_10Ronco is a beautiful village above Lake Maggiore near Ascona. The Albergo is beautifully situated with wonderful views of the lake. We ate a nice mixed salad and fish terrine from the lake fish, with white Merlot ( a local Ticino wine) and coffee. The dining room terrace is a great place to eat.

Séjour au bord du Lac Majeur

La propriétsire est très sympathique et nous a accueilli très chaleureusement, nous a donné de bon conseils d accès au lac et coins pour manger. Joli peti studio avec kirchenette encastrée, plutôt pratique quand la pièce est petite. Canapé lit un peu dur , mais c est un canapé lit après tout . Adresse aue je garde en mémoire et conseillerai sans hésiter, â côté de la ville d’Ascona très facile d’accès.

Reviewed By olikovoNa doporučení jsem se vydali do Ristorante Lucca na oběd. V pravé poledne nikde nikdo, přesto nás mile uvítali a obsloužili na terase s krásným výhledem. Jídlo bylo moc dobré, místo klidné. Ideální, když se nechcete mačkat v přeplněné restauraci. Jednoduché, chutné.
