Reviewed By blogblog00This four star hotel left a lot to be desired. It’s in a beautiful location. A lovely warm welcome in reception when we arrived. We booked a suite for the jacuzzi bath. Apart from the jacuzzi the rest of the suite was furnished with some really old, damaged pieces of furniture.noisy air con 24 hours. Breakfast was very poor. Dinner was ok but many things on menu not available. Very understaffed in dining room and bar. One person to cover bar and terrace and dining room , taking orders, going to and from kitchen and serving. Not very good cleanliness either especially in times of COVID. The menus went from one table to another without any cleansing. They need to replace their loo brushes too. Was very uncomfortable there . Reception staff very good

Reviewed By Brais FJust stayed for one night for a business visit. Comfortable with very friendly staff. That's what I look for when I travel. Also looks great for holiday stays as environment is unique. Solo me quedé una noche por motivos de trabajo. Habitación cómoda y tranquila y el personal es muy atento y agradable. También parece recomendable para estadías vacacionales ya que el entorno es único.

Reviewed By InvernesscookieWe stayed here during the start of the lockdown for Covid-19, before managing to drive home to the UK. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. I cannot thank them enough for their help at this difficult time. The campsite is located in beautiful surroundings and has great facilities. The restaurant also serves amazing seafood and is reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend ?

Good value, clean and comfortable accommodation.
Reviewed By Lisa WRibeira is a large town with little in the way of accommodation. Luckily we found the Carolinas which was clean, comfortable and good value at 33E for a double room. The 3rd floor room overlooking the harbour gave a great view of the sunrise, rear rooms on the same level look over the hills and may be quieter. The shower was hot and powerful enough to wash my hair. Wifi is free and reasonable in the rooms. Breakfast wasn't included, it could be taken downstairs but there were only plastic wrapped buns so we wandered along the harbour to the cafe Josue.

Descanso, confort y buen precio
Reviewed By PepinP5hola, suelo alojarme en el Hotel Áncora de Ribeira por motivos profesionales y personales. He estado alojado desde el 5 al 9 de Abril y esta estancia ha coincidido con una potente borrasca del atlántico. primero, intensas lluvias y fuertes vientos ( alerta naranja del aemet ). segundo, trabajo agotador y tercero.... terminar mi jornada laboral era un verdadero respiro ( trabajo al aire libre )... regresaba al hotel y me sentía como en casa.... la calefacción funcionaba de una manera correcta ( temperatura de confort y ahorro energético ), tomaba una ducha en el baño recién reformado y aliviaba el frío y la humedad que me calaban hasta los huesos, después del baño ponía la tele y descansaba hasta la hora de cenar.... cuando llegaba esta hora salía del hotel y podía acceder a multitud de sitios para comer y / o comprar cosas... en menos de 2 minutos. finalmente, a mi regreso, una confortable cama y un aislamiento perfecto de ruidos del exterior. Cada día regresaba y repetía el mismo proceso, y cada vez me encontraba como la primera vez, un servicio de habitaciones que conoce las necesidades de l@s huéspedes ( doble almohadón y mantita ; ) el personal del hotel tiene un trato correcto y familiar... somos l@s clientes de antaño... l@s viajer@s, l@s viajantes, l@s familiares y que nos sentimos como en un hogar..... por eso... cuando llegue el verano... y se llene de turistas....formaremos parte de los turistas acompañados de nuestra familia.
