Reviewed By Bruno MStayed in the hotel due to work.the location is good.the receptionist was very friendly and quickly answered all my queries. The room is clean and has a lot of storage. The breakfast is good with fresh fruit and the food in the restaurant was very tasty and the servers very friendly. Very good value for money.

Good location close to the beach
Reviewed By Nieves AVery good option to visit not only Portonovo but other villages like Sanxenxo, Pontevedra, El Grove and Isla de la Toja. Many beautiful beaches too. The hotel is spotless and you don't hear any noise at night.It is just 5 minute walk to the beach and good restaurants. You can leave your car close to the hotel in a free parking area. When I come back to Portonovo I'll choose Casa Alvarito without a a doubt.

The Villa Cabicastro Aparthotel Holiday Resort consists of two Aparthotels: Villa Cabicastro and Punta Cabicastro. It is located near Portonovo (Sanxenxo), and is 150 m. From Canelas beach and very close to Paxarinas, Montalvo and La Lanzada beaches, amongst others. T.1 Apartments have one twin bedroom, a kitchen-living room with an extra bed (0.80 M) and a sofa bed (bed also 0.80 M) and a full bathroom with hairdryer. The kitchen has a ceramic hob with two rings, a fridge, a microwave, a toaster, a coffee machine and kitchenware. Some apartments have their own balcony and a small clothes drying area. The apartments also have a flat screen TV.T.2 Apartments have two twin bedrooms, a kitchen-living room with an extra bed (0.80 M) and a sofa bed (bed also 0.80 M) and a full bathroom with hairdryer. The kitchen has a ceramic hob with two rings, a fridge and kitchenware. There is a microwave, a toaster, a coffee machine and a flat screen TV in all apartments. The apartments are cleaned daily, including kitchenware.Check In is after 15:00 and Check Out before 12:00.
Relaxing stay
Reviewed By chloewIt's on a main road which you have to cross to get to the beach. I thought it was quite pricey but as it's high season and near the beach that's understandable. Can't really think of anything else! Located near an excellent beach and the gardens are well looked after. The pool wasn't heated but was great and my children loved it. Plenty of sunbeds and a small bar to get drinks and ice creams in the afternoon. There was a football/volley ball area and a games room. The beach is lovely and we hired a pedalo, as well as visiting the small beach bar a few times. This is a great place to stay with children. The food is good and the waiting staff are excellent! We walked into Portonovo which also had a nice beach and lots of places to eat.

Reviewed By 123Pinky123This beautiful little gem took us by surprise. The service is outstanding- very attentive, friendly, fun staff. The food is delicious. The best meal we had on our entire trip. The meat was served on a hot plate to cook to one's preference themselves. Beautiful piece of meat and seasoned to perfection. The pasta dish was very nice too. Looking forward to our return- hopefully next month!

Could be a lot better
Reviewed By Jorge LThe room we stayed in was comfortable enough, but could do with some cleaning. The bathroom was clean but the bedroom floor was not. The staff was not very friendly and the fact that the hotel door is closed at night and guests have to ring a bell which was heard on the rooms didn't help either. Breakfast was poor, with little on offer. On the plus side, it is well located, but then again most hotels in Portonovo are as it is a small village.

Reviewed By sarcangeliWe stayed at this hotel for a week and we really enjoyed it. The rooms are very clean and well furnished, more than you'd expect from a two-stars. The breakfast is served directly at the bar, and all the personnel of this family-owned hotel is always very friendly and helpful. The location is really excellent: just next to the port and beach of Portonovo, 10-minutes walking distance from the beach of Sanxenxo, less than 10 minutes by car from the beach of Lanzada. And from the port of Portonovo you can also take the ferry for a one-day visit to the Island of Ons, part of the National Park of the Spanish Atlantic Islands, which is definitely worth a visit!

Simple 2 star rated guest housse in the Canelas area of the Portonovo fishing village. It´s located in a quiet area 150 m. away from Canelas beach and 400 m. from the centre of the village where there are a variety of establishments like cafes, restaurantes ant terraces. The San Roque has ensulte double and triples exteriors rooms with TV. Some rooms have their own terrace. A bar service with lunch menu, sandwiches and breakfast is also available.

Reviewed By NicoGucciobasic accomodation just outside Portonovo city centre. rooms are clean and the management will take care of issues (as i walked in my room there was a strong smoke smell and they took care of it by changing bed linens and curtains the next morning). great location close to old town centre and to awesome Playa Montalvo
