Days Inn is one of the closest hotels to the beach. We are a non-smoking place and not pet - friendly. The property is located across Island Moorings and next to Palmilla Beach Resort. You can drive to the beach for only less than half a mile and walking distance for just three blocks away. Days Inn Port Aransas offers free continental breakfast, free parking boat parking and free access to our wifi.

Reviewed By exh868Our initial impressions were not great. Then we entered the lobby, still not great. Then we entered the room, went downhill from there. The bed sheets were heavily stained. Not good. The staff were attentive and replaced the sheets immediately. The rest of the room was fine and clean. Event the bed itself was very clean and comfy. We did also have an issue with the bathtub drain, but that was not that big of an issue and we let the front desk know as we checked out.

Reviewed By C2098KQbarbaramThis place needs remodeling. Everything is old and somewhat dirty. Way overpriced at spring break. We found black mold around the base boards. Bedding was somewhat yellowish. Noisy at night. The pictures of hotel are false, only showing what is considered nice.

Quiet at mid-week
Reviewed By jetslyWe were here for two nights in mid-week as April was winding down. The hotel, like the town and the beach at large, was quiet and uncrowded. For retirees, mid-week after spring break and before schools let out for the summer is the best time to visit the Texas beaches. The breakfast offerings were as minimal as minimal can get. On the first morning, they were down to cinnamon rolls and biscuits and gravy. This is a testament to the supply chain shortages that have hammered many hotels nationwide. We opted the next morning to stop at Donut Palace on our way out of town. No shortages there. Our room was clean as well as quiet, and had the expected comfortable IHG mattresses and pillows. The room also had 2 safes (both inoperative), a microwave and mini-frig. The latter lacked a freezer element for our stash of dry ice, but the staff (nice people throughout) laid it up for us in one of their freezers. Thanks! The real draw for us here was the great outdoor pool and hot tub. The pool was a bit chilly in the shadows of mid-morning, but by 11:30 the pool was bathed in direct sunlight and proceeded to warm up nicely. We put both to good use on both days. We look forward to staying here again.

Reviewed By 560brucebExcellent locally owned hotel. Nice airplane-themed rooms. We stayed in Floatplane #5 (June 5-7). Great shower and vanity. Wife and I were in a single Queen room. We were extremely comfortable the whole stay. I enjoyed their nice pool on our last afternoon there. They allowed you to choose items for a continental breakfast the day before and it was delivered in a container outside your room before 7am each morning. The muffins and croissants seemed to be freshly baked and very good. In my opinion, the great value in the stay was the location in the middle of Port A. We loved to walk to different areas of town. You are literally minutes from everything. We will definitely be staying there again.
